The extremely elusive giant squid are typically never seen by the human eye but one four-metre long Architeuthis decided to put on a show for a group Japanese spectators on Christmas Eve. The massive orange and white live squid was filmed swimming next to a boat's moorings in Toyama Bay on the west coast of Japan, according to Motherboard. Such large squid live deep underwater and are normally only found dead floating on the surface of the ocean or washed up on beaches, according to Ocean Portal.

“Too bad Seinfeld missed this word. They could have combined Costanza’s architect and marine biologist jokes into one episode. “
Vandalay industries. Processors of giant squid since 1996.
"I'm not?"

I recently saw an ad for that rum. Will have to try it. I’m an offbeat label hunter. Lol
Sushi chefs be salavating!
Trolling for Japanese food.
I favor Mt. Gay Eclipse rum, myself, for regular sipping. Most of the cheaper rums are nasty.

(Like yours truly!)
The list of creepy things, the giant squid is right up there near the top.
It used to be a 4 inch squid till that radiation leak.
What else lurks beneath the waves..... : )
I will. My neighbor at the marina gave me a bottle of Pampero Aniversario for Christmas. Squat bottle that comes in a leather wrapper. Supposed to be excellent sipping rum. Haven’t tried it yet.
I buy offbeat labels. I bought Death Wish Coffee for some Marina neighbors because it had a skull and crossbones on it. I’m partial to Buccaneers and pirate stuff but sea stuff is good too. Lol
