Sarah Palin is slamming daughter Bristol's former fiance after he filed court papers involving the couple's daughter Sailor. Dakota Meyer filed papers seeking joint legal and physical custody of Sailor Grace, who was born on December 23 in Alaska.
In the court documents filed by Meyer which were obtained by TMZ he is also asking for one other thing from Bristol - child support. Sarah responded by telling Entertainment Tonight in a statement; 'For many months we have been trying to reach out to Dakota Myers [sic] and he has wanted nothing to do with either Bristol's pregnancy or the baby.'
She then said that Meyer is just trying to 'save face'. Bristol's rep also released a statement, saying: 'My values are such that a real American hero doesn't ask for child support.'Â

He didn’t file that lawsuit for military gain.
He filed it to call public attention to the fact that his employer was arming the Islamists. They had fired him for bringing that to public light.
Once again the ethics and morality that Dakota Meyer has displayed if far above his little maggot detractor. Jealous people always try to invent some reason a good deed is really self serving. Even when that deed has come at personal sacrifice.
Or you didn’t bother to read any of the information about the lawsuit at all before you tried to throw it out as a defense for making your previous spurious statement.

If you have never had to fight a financially strong mom and her family to have “meaningful” involvement in your baby daughters life then you simply cannot understand how he feels.
The Palins are now wealthy, EQUAL GENDER RIGHTS are now the coin of the day, Alaska is EXPENSIVE to live in, what’s good for the goose is good for the gander.
From what I have heard so far, I support Dakota even though I LOVE Sarah Palin.
I have a different view. I remember hearing Track had problems. Bristol is one ongoing problem. I don’t know about the rest of the gang. But if you’re busy with a full time demanding job and a family, one of them suffers. You cant be a good parent if you’re not there. You cannot give both jobs 100% and eventually one of them suffers.

It shouldn’t even be a fight. Both parties sit down (like mature adults) and work out the details. I would think any parent would be thrilled to have their child’s father in her life. It’s’ not about Bristol and Dakota’s problems, it’s about the child. We have too many fatherless children in this world. It sounds like Bristol doesn’t even want him in the child’s life.

The disappearing American family is arguably the most important issue facing this country. If 2 babies by different fathers but no husband is not enough for people to care, what number is? 3,4,5 babies by different dads? Bristol and Sarah can live however they want. Just get out of the public eye before they become the conservative version of the Kardashian family.

The BUT is that the mothers family, more often than not, are just helplessly out of control re their BLAMING the father ergo “sitting down like mature adults” just can’t happen.
In this case, My bet is that common sense Sarah and common sense Todd WILL, at the end of the day, do just as you suggest and settle with the father of their grand-daughter.
Bristol needs to pick her men and choices more wisely as she is bringing down her family into tabloid mode.

There are always two sides to every story.
We have one side here.
Even though I am a Palin fan, I know that Bristol appears to be a really emotionally unstable person.
This is playing out in a similar way as with Levi Johnston and their son Tripp.
The proper place for all of this is in court, not the press.
And this is not the first time the Palins have tried to shape the battlefield when it comes to child custody fights, by running to the media. There is a pattern here.
This is now the second time that Bristol has had a “planned pregnancy” and then appears to want sole custody of the child.
More so than with Levi Johnston, I would initially think a MOH recipient would be a man of honor. I don’t care for Bristol’s statement about what a MOH recipient should be or not be.
The whole wedding thing had a very odd flavor about it.
All I am saying is that the Palins are not completely innocent parties here, in my opinion.
Not as I read it. He filed some paperwork that got to the media and Saint Sarah pitched a fit.
