Only my father was from Tennessee. My 100% Italian mother lived in New York City all of her life. They met in Manhattan's Central Park.

I’ve worked near central park but not a big park person so i rarely entered it.
He was there visiting the Park with a shipmate and they ran into my mother and her friend. From what I was told, they actually began dating the other way around at first: my father with my mother’s friend, etc. Then at some point later they switched! Lucky for me they did, or there wouldn’t even be a “me”.
lol. i think that switcheroo happens more than people think.
as long as it was not a long intimate relationship previously, i dated a number of gals that my friends had dated first.
