FULL TITLE: 'Hit me!' The shocking moment an American Airlines flight attendant challenges a passenger to a FIGHT after 'hitting a crying mother in struggle over her baby's stroller'
A shocking video has emerged showing an American Airlines employee challenging a passenger to a fight after allegedly hitting a woman with a stroller on a domestic flight.
The upsetting footage, filmed shortly before Flight 591 departed from San Francisco on Friday afternoon, shows the airline employee goading a passenger and saying, 'hit me'.
The clip was uploaded by passenger Surain Adyanthaya, who explained he started filming after the flight attendant 'violently took a stroller from a lady with her baby on my flight, hitting her and just missing the baby'.
Adyanthaya went on to explain: 'They just in-voluntarily escorted the mother and her kids off the flight and let the flight attendant back on, who tried to fight other passengers. The mom asked for an apology and the AA official declined.'
In the video, a woman is seen standing at the front of the airplane as she is holding a child in her arms.

I think tough guy was lucky he didn’t get yanked off the plane immediately.
He was not involved in the incident (of which only the passengers know exactly what led up to the video) to begin with I don’t think.
Whatever happened to MEN treating women and children, of any age, with respect and protectiveness. I think I speak for most men when I say that God and our innate spirit demands that men safeguard and defend women and the young from all dangers and threats.
Middle Eastern airlines are at war with the US airlines. How all of a sudden these anti US airlines stories are coming in.

You can hear at 0:30 sec on the Youtube clip the passenger says he’s not gonna set around and let her be treated badly. The attendant seemed ready to pounce and backed down when he received no support from the guy with bars on his shoulders right behind him. Who then turned and walked away shaking his head. The female doing her best to pretend everything is ok.
I think the passenger was the only one giving a damn.

Well, I know every time I have to take my shoes off and walk through possible Athlete’s Feet bacteria and raise my hands as if I was a criminal while going through the machine that lets people see me in my underwear - I am not in a good mood.

I cant imagine putting my finger in a airline employees face and yelling at them on a federally regulated plane and not leaving cuffed and stuffed.

I’d be happy if the news would show how ‘awful’ the majority of the public is to deal with today.....you eventually can’t help but have the mindset everyones going to be a problem and then be delighted when you can finally serve a “normal” customer..the contrast is stark!

I’ve never seen a US airline allow a stroller in the cabin. They always have to be left at the end of the jetway and you carry the child from there. (Rules seemed to be a bit more relaxed in more free countries such as Russia)
So if she rolled the stroller right on to the plane, I can see the stewardess taking it away from her.
The steward hit the passenger with it, this is all I know.
She got free first class for breaking the rules, acting all emotional and messing things up for everyone else.

We have seen the video and have already started an investigation to obtain the facts. What we see on this video does not reflect our values or how we care for our customers. We are deeply sorry for the pain we have caused this passenger and her family and to any other customers affected by the incident. We are making sure all of her family’s needs are being met while she is in our care. After electing to take another flight, we are taking special care of her and her family and upgrading them to first class for the remainder of their international trip. The actions of our team member captured here do not appear to reflect patience or empathy, two values necessary for customer care. In short, we are disappointed by these actions. The American team member has been removed from duty while we immediately investigate this incident.

The passenger apparently saw what he thought was thuggish behavior from that attendant. Is that a knot on her forehead from the incident?

Wow! You KNOW that? How do you “know” it?
It is very clear who is in the wrong. That flight attendant acted in a highly unprofessional manner, and he may just have forfeited his job. Even if the passenger called his entire family unnameables, the flight attendant should have held his cool. Unfortuntaely, this will cost him.
