There won’t be a good answer going forward from today (or earlier, actually, since Ray Rice and deflate-gate).
I still like to watch the NFL at the local bar, but I watch about 25 percent as much as I used to. It’s EASY to get a seat at the bar now on any given Sunday, Monday or Thursday.
If an honest history of this is ever published people will be agape at the utter stupidity of it all, offending their paying customers again and again and again, all while demonstrating just how little they need taxpayer subsidy with such cavalier disregard of expense. $100 million to liberal social causes? Sure, here ya go. $50M plus the latest jet and family healthcare insurance for life, for the commissioner who has been responsible for this disaster? Sure, here ya go. They’re going to be squeezed on both ends, sales and subsidies. Jerry Jones needs to sell before the bottom really falls out. Consider it a stop loss.

The antics of the football players were reason enough not to watch NFL football. Renewing this contract for Roger Goodall is proof we should not watch NFL Football.

Yep - NFL peaked in the early 2000’s. I think Jerry will keep in family to the end. Stephen is running ops now — too much a part of the Jones family identity. But NFL owning teams is a long term loser.
