Oprah For President? Why Not Miley Cyrus, Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton?

Posted on 01/11/2018 8:17:32 AM PST by pinochet

For those who want Oprah to be the next President, I have a better idea on who should serve in the next government. How about Miley Cyrus as President, Kim Kardashian as Vice President, and Paris Hilton as Secretary of Defense. As Secretary of State, we need someone with experience of visiting foreign countries. How about Madonna? If qualifications and experience mean nothing to the elites in this country, I cannot think of better candidates than those.

The left is stupid. They think Trump won because he was a "reality TV star", the credential they keep using to describe him. Never mind that he only had a TV show in the first place because he was one of the most successful businessmen in the world. He's just a "celebrity". So all it takes to beat him is to put up a bigger celebrity.

Fools overlook that Trump had a message. Two parties had blended into one, they pretended to fight but they lined up over all the big issues. More immigration, more spending, more entitlements, more globalism, more interventionism. There was nobody who dissented in DC and anyone who appeared to was shown as a liar when the votes came down. And if regular folk suffered under a decade of fleeing jobs, stagnant enconomy, no hope well, that's the new normal, the price of a brave new globalist world. For us, not for them. They're doing just fine.

Trump stood up and said enough. Jobs matter, US exceptionalism matters, no more blood and treasure to protect things that aren't crucial to the USA. Make America Great Again made people wonder "is there really someone who means it? Someone who isn't just another liar? Someone who actually loves AMERICA more than anything?" We haven't had a candidate who gave that feeling for 30 years. We were starved for it. A movement was sparked and Trump rode it to the White House. Trump won because he was unique, with a different message from anyone else. One we had prayed for years to hear and we took a chance on him.

Now we turn to Oprah. The celebrity. Oprah will say she cares. Diversity is our strength. Right to choose, war on women, #metoo. Blah blah blah Same old drivel that any other dem canidate would throw out there just dressed up in a winning smile.

Miley Cyrus is not eligible. She's only 25.

Interesting about Oprah and Steadman—and not surprising about Whoopie!

Ashley Judd would be perfect to head up the National Institutes for Mental Health.

Very simple answer as to why not:

The red blooded Americans are in the process of returning our country to the status of the land of the free; the home of the brave.

No more time for their nonsense.

That poor saleslady in Switzerland seems to have had a different experience, IIRC.

No comparison. Oprah out of those listed has the best chance to win. Democrats want to win in 2020. She’s got the back and women votes. And people like Ann and Michelle melkin will help by continued complaints about trump.

He’s a pretty obvious choice for Secretary of Education, I think.

Oprah’s followers are an excellent answer to anyone asking why there was once reluctance to let women vote.

Agreed. Can only speak of what I experienced. Then again people tend to be very attentive and polite when buying a 300 knots speed used aircraft which can kill everyone on board if not perfectly planned and executed on acquisition and operations. A handbag, not so much.
