Students send vulgar letters disputing Post story about ‘hellhole’ school

With a teacher’s encouragement, seventh-graders in a social-studies class at JHS 80 used their city-issued laptops last week to e-mail letters to The Post to protest a report about their school that cited discipline problems, hazardous conditions, and administrators who try to cover up violent incidents.

I realize that stories from the NY Post must be excerpted here, but you simply MUST go to the article and read these illiterate pidgeon English missives by these students. They are in junior high school, so they would range from 13-14 years old, if they haven't been held back a year or two, which is likely. You have to see what Commie Core lessons, classroom discipline forbidden by the mayor, and illegals occupying seats in our schools have wrought. All this taxpayer money, and they write no better than someone raised up in the remote hills with a one-room schoolhouse as their only source of education. In fact, I'd put my money on the one-room schoolhouse. And the fact that their "teacher" did not vet the letters before submission is a disgrace. But the NYC Bored of Ed is actively running all their veteran teachers out by any means, so it's probably some underqualified newbie "teacher" behind this.

We can see their “education” has been quite successful - they have already become angry, disaffected, easily manipulated, gullible, progressive social justice warriors.

Sadly, the students did not display the writing skills they should be learning. The missives were rife with grammar, spelling and punctuation errors — and some curse words.

There was a show on about a year ago that we liked. It was called Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders. Gary Sinese starred in it and it detailed stories about Americans caught up in crime in other countries. We anxiously awaited it’s new season this year, only to find it had been cancelled. Turns out the producers didn’t want to offend other countries by portraying their countries as dangerous. How appalling. Now we see schools being described as ‘he**holes’ and the students who are complaining about the moniker are making the case for the description. Our country had better turn back to the TRUTH of EVERYTHING, before it’s too late (hoping it isn’t already too late)

I wouldn’t bet on the teacher not reviewing their letters. It’s entirely possible that each letter was carefully reviewed.

I had a supervisor once who wrote in ebonics. Head honcho of the whole office but couldn’t speak decent English. Of course, this was a state government office. As a new hire, they had a similar type train me and she would pronounce “perpetrator” as “pepper traitor” and dumb as a doorknob. Most annoying. Can’t say I had much respect for either.
