Dakota Meyer has filed for divorce from Bristol Palin a source tells DailyMail.com.

The veteran filed paperwork two weeks ago according to the source, and moved out of the couple's Austin home around Christmas.

The couple were married in a private ceremony back in 2016, a little over a year after calling of their first wedding just days before the ceremony.

They have two daughters, 2-year-old Sailor and Atlee Bay, who was born back in May. Bristol, 27, also has a 9-year-old son Tripp from her relationship with fiancee Levi Johnston.

It would have been a damn sight better than what we got stuck with.

Bristol should have known this guy was trouble when he lied about his first marriage. Sarah should have known too.

The oldest ones, Bristol and Track, seem to be the most unsettled. Usually, its the younger kids creating problems as a way to gain attention.
Maybe Sarah and Todd changed their parenting customs starting with Willow. I never hear anything about Willow.

After 2013, Sarah began the process of becoming a more private citzen, not completely by choice. Perhaps the home environment became more stable after that. Plus, she had her youngest son to look after. And he always will need some form of support.

I can’t disagree on that. But I still wonder what it would
have been like based upon what we’ve seen since they came
on the scene.

Willow is engaged to be married at age 23. I kinda see a pattern here with her kids.

“Dakota also blocked Bristol on social media says the source.”

These days that’s bigger than divorce.

How do you know that he blocked Bristol, on social media?

Of what pattern, pray tell, are you speaking? Bet many boomers got married at that age, or younger. As did our parents.

This is news....why? Palin holds no elected office.

Neither does Hillary.

Don't want to hear anything about her either?

Someday they will reach the other side of 50 and wonder why they were so damn stupid in their 20’s.

I was married at 23. 32 years later I am married to the same man and my only regret is I didn’t marry him sooner. My son was married at 23 his bride was 21. Three years later they are expecting their first child and he will finish grad school and be ordained this spring. Marrying young is not a problem. Who you marry at any age may be.

Good for Willow and her betrothed.
I hope they both live a pleasant and private life in Alaska or whereever. Far away from Washington’s Hate. Funny thing is Willow is the most attractive Palin daughter, and looks almost like a clone of her mom, Sarah, but does not seem to want the spotlight.
I’m sure she must have gotten offers over the years. It’s not the life for her, apparently.

I was married at 22. Husband was 23. Still married 36+ years later. Wish we had married sooner, maybe we could have had kids.

"I don’t know a family, these days, that hasn’t got a bit of ‘dysfunction’ going on."

Amen. I know there was plenty in my family. Nobody's perfect...even me.

We had a family brawl at a summer bbq at my mother’s house about 15 years back. Uncles, brothers and cousins swinging for the fences. I was smack dab in the middle... Not my proudest moment. Needless to say, my mom doesn’t do the bbq’s anymore.

Married at 21, husband was 23; 38 years, 2 children and 2 grandchildren later still going strong. All of our close friends, and we have many, were married in their late teens/early 20s and all are still together. Our secret? Endeavoring to live life Biblically, not culturally. So far our married children and doing the same. Old fashion works.
