I think I have come up with a really elegant retort to those that call for banning firearms after the Florida school shooting.
Liberal: "WE NEED TO BAN GUNS TO PREVENT ANOTHER SCHOOL SHOOTING."
Me: "I say we ban children instead. It would be more effective than even gun bans at preventing another school shooting."
It does two things: It shocks the person who uttered the gun ban line, and it demonstrates the absurdity of trying to ban things to prevent school shootings.
I was thinking of a metaphor to answer the virtue-signaling idiots who are either destroying their own guns or turning them in to the Polizei.
“Since drunk driving kills so many people, I’ve decided to roll my car off a cliff.”
The left is already trying their damndest to ban children before they leave the womb alive.
How many mass murders a year does the left throw money at and enthusiastically support in the form of abortion?

It’s against the law to murder.
It was against the law to possess a firearm at this gun-free location.
The FBI was notified twice about this kid.
The evidence proves the school was completely aware of the instability of this kid.
The local police were called to this kid’s house multiple dozens of times and did nothing.
Yeah, it must be Trump and the NRA’s fault. Democrats are in trouble and need a demon to agitate their base for the 2018 election. This is why you are seeing Hollywood starting to put up money to fan the flames here.
This is similar to how every four years or so some inexplicably “random” racial act occurs which Democrats and their MSM partners coincidentally exploit to gin up the Black turnout vote.

Here’s a thought. Maybe we turn the video game into a test. Pass the school shooter test, you can then shoot up the school. All school shooters will have to enter the school, proceed to a room where the video game sits. There will be both questions to be answered as well as skill at the game.
You pass, the door opens, you get your AR-15 back and go knock yourself out. You fail, that toy rifle you are holding is electrified. Bye-Bye

The next time some wacko drives 90 mph down the wrong way of a street crashing into cars and killing people, lets ignore the crazy and demand stronger traffic laws.
