A woman is under arrest for allegedly dumping popcorn on a 2-year-old child at a movie theater back in January.
Detectives said 25-year-old Keri Karman and 61-year-old Charles Karman told the child to quiet down during the movie at a theater in Levittown on Long Island.
The girl's mother intervened then Keri Karman put her hand over the girl's mouth and started yelling and cursing at her.
Police said Keri then dumped popcorn on the girl, hit her in the head with the empty container and ran off.
The little girl suffered a contusion.
Both of the Karmans are charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
Confusion about contusion.

You do know that was a hypothetical, right? My wife and I were aware of what our young children were up to at all times. Fortunately, that was 20 years ago - I don't know if I have to kind of energy now.

Someone who has never had kids has a right to complain about a child’s behavior just as much as someone who has had children.

I gave up on movie theaters a long time ago.
Your kid is probably a brat and you should be able to control the little puke.

You can certainly control the behavior of a two year old but first, you have to be an adult yourself.

I assume that woman has mental issues that explain her getting all those surgeries. But the doctors who exploited her condition? They should lose their license or be forced to work on poor people in third world countries for the minimum.
I understand that woman played Cat Woman in some Batman movie.
If your kid is acting up in a theater. Please take your child out to the lobby or leave the theater. Other people paid good money to watch the movie without being interrupted..

Any parent of a two year-old that is disturbing other people without that parent’s knowledge isn’t much of a parent.

Definitely - do I have to guess the “race” of the idiot? I’ll be surprised if I’m wrong - unless rudeness has permeated our society so badly, you can’t tell anymore!
Well, I was wrong - didn’t read enough posts to get to the picture... Don’t think I’d want to have a confrontation with her - she looks just plain scary!!
Going to the movies isn’t fun anymore.
A child under 5 should NEVER be allowed in a theater.
If I even see one I ask for a refund and try the movie another time.
The fact that so many are admitting to being spectacularly poor parents is astounding. There is no good reason the kid couldnt sit still and even less reason for a 25yo to attack it.
