I like soccer. But this flopping business has gotten really lame. You seem to see it more in the international game than you do here during MLS games.
I don’t know what the solution is. Maybe one is that a player who rolls around on the ground likes he was bayoneted and then gets up and is walking normally needs to be forced into subbing out for a new player. Being that both teams are limited to only a few substitutions in a game, this might help reduce the theatrics. A yellow card is another option, I guess.
Just let him lay there flopping around and go on playing...Forget him....
The fix is simple
Allow teams to call an injury time-out which halts the game clock. Allow the teams to decide when to call time-in. When the time-in is called, the game clock and play starts again.
If the time between time-out and time-in is less than 30 seconds, the player is required to remain off the field for 1 min after the time-in. No substitution is allowed.
If the time between time-out and time-in is greater than 30 seconds, the player is removed from the game and must be replaced if a substitution is available. If no substitution is available, then the team must play the remainder of the match short handed.
“I dont know what the solution is.”
Come to the game with scoring cards like in figure skating. After the flop, hold up cards with his score. Have people do that for a season and it will make a mockery of the act. That will end it.

Easy- suspend the players who do it for a few games without pay- it’ll stop
