So the guy was sentenced to 55 years to life, and it wound up being life, what’s the big deal?
But there is the question of punishment for the guy that killed him. Possibly early parole? Maybe a week in solitary confinement with all the booze he can drink and the best catered in food?

Saved CA a lot of money.Maybe not.Assuming the 19 year old gets life without parole he'll be a guest of the state for 60+ years whereas with the perv it might have been 20.
