I sure hope it wasnt painful...
In prison, child molesters are called “Short Eyes”.
They don’t last long.
Prison justice.
That would be wise. There are plenty of overzealous cops and prosecuters working to just close cases.
Yup.
How many prison guards does it take to push a child molester down the stairs?
None. He fell.
I don’t believe Jesus would approve of this murder. Justice was served with the sentence of 55-life. I wont disagree with anyone here who feels child molesters should receive a penalty of death from the state, but it is not for other prisoners to determine that. We need to get the law changed, not have prisoners take the law into their own hands.
God’s judgment upon the molester will be final and just. It is not as if he was given probation or skated outright. He was given a suitably stiff sentence. The murder was wrong. That will merit God’s judgment as well.
Could be it was the first he was caught ....
Justice is Served.
Ten Bears, is that you?
That would be wise. There are plenty of overzealous cops and prosecutors working to just close cases.
And lots of cops and prosecutors could not care less if an accused actually committed the crime. I have personal experience with that.
I am in no way claiming the 66 year-old guy was innocent.
What I will say, without reservation, is that it is way to easy to convict a man of a sex-related crime with no real evidence. That is a fact.
That’s not what I’m talking about. Know what I’m talking about?
I wonder if it has occurred to any of the virtue signallers high-fiving this instance of prison murder, that, given California’s failure to protect the civil rights of a prisoner in its custody, it has just become more difficult to convict and sentence future child abusers. Future offenders will readily and credibly argue that incarceration will be cruel and unusual, and many California jurors will be receptive to that argument. People who celebrate prison murder and prison rape — lamentably plentiful at FR — are disgusting, the lowest of the low.
Although we should not actually celebrate the murder of a human being, given that it has already happened, we can be grateful that he will not be molesting any more children,
True, but he was still not going to be molesting any children during his 55 years in prison. I mean, that would have worked too, right?
“the state, but it is not for other prisoners to determine that.”
Aren’t We the People the State??
Yes, we the people are the state, and we elect representatives to make laws against child molestation, resulted in 55 year sentences passed by judges upon sguilty child molesters who have been convicted in a speedy trial by a jury of their peers, as per the US Constitution.
We don’t leave it to other prisoners to sentence guilty convicts to death. It doesn’t work that way in America. That is for science fiction movies and 3rd world countries.
“It doesnt work that way in America. That is for science fiction movies and 3rd world countries.”
Guess what? It DOES work that way, obviously. You may not want it to work that way, but that’s childish fantasy to think otherwise.
Cold blooded murder is not right. Not even in prison. Not even if someone “has it coming”. Only the state has the moral authority to condemn and execute criminals. Nobody else has that legal or moral authority. I don’t we should celebrate when a anyone takes the law into his own hands, becomes judge jury and executioner, and murders someone in the name of Justice. It is not right. It is not moral. It is not Christian. It is not to be celebrated.
