Every time I hear about this stuff, I think about how Oprah tried to lift 100 families out of poverty. Only a few ‘made’ it. The poor have a lot of problems other than a lack of money. Lack of education, lack of self-control, an inability to delay gratification, multiple children and no spouse present, all contribute to their problems.

You can give people all the money you want; it won’t help a lot of them.
