Its Canada dude, they roll that way LOL
I grew up near Toronto but am not Canadian.
I just like throwing some fun at them.
Ha! I had a Volkswagon like that in the late 1960s!
Don’t be silly, 60’s era VW’s NEVER WARMED UP! LOL
I love Canada. Nabisco makes Mallomars in Canada.
Back before MADD and when folks still left their keys in cars a lot this was a common occurrence at a lot of local bars. I’m sure you can figure out why.
Another former owner ehh ? .. LOL .. had a '65 once but loved it anyway.
I have to admit, the heater never really worked.
Can it really be theft if the keys are in the ignition? There was no intent to steal.
My VW was a 1960 model with no gas gauge, just a switch on the floor near the gas pedal that you could move to go into “reserve,” get you maybe another 30 miles.
I’m odd, I had 5 of them over the years, the best one was a 77 Custom bus with a Porsche 914 motor in it, but I ran the piss out of a 68 Westphalia camper that I bought in 1980.
Good times
I have one. Hubby always stops to let me out at bank and then parks. I once came bounding out, saw our car and jumped into passenger seat. Looked at hubby with a smile and a 20 some year old girl stopped entering in her checkbook and looked at me stunned. I sheepishly looked around, saw hubby laughing in a different white suv, our real car, and quickly apologized as I scrambled out of her car.
Oh, and I have rented hundreds of cars in my biz travel and always go to the parking lots later trying to remember what make and color this week. Love the beeper on the lock function.
Had a friend who drove his wife’s car to the mall. He came out later and couldn’t find his car. He figured he’d come out a different exit. Then he saw his wife’s car and thought “My wife’s here so I’ll wait till she comes out then we’ll drive around and look for my car”. After about an hour he remembered that he had driven his wife’s car.
They had the gas fueled heaters as an option, and I hear the work good if you have a fire extinguisher!
No AC either
Man, that seems like a couple lifetimes ago .. some idiot Tboned me in it when I was going home one night .. and so, apparently being a glutton for punishment, I bought a Spitfire .. LOL
having owned a 67 MG, I must say, YOU are a glutton for punishment. LOL
Had fun in that MG too
(loved ‘em both, pains in the ass notwithstanding)
Stromberg oil damped carbs, wiring by Lucas “the prince of darkness” Lol
