Customer reviews were supposed to be one of the internets greatest breakthroughs. They let you know if a product was any good before you spent money on it. Sites like Amazon, Yelp, TripAdvisor, Uber, Lyft, and Airbnb built their successes on the trust created by those review systems.
But these days, that trust is getting shaky.

Since Angie's List makes money from selling ads to contractors they've got a built in bias too. Maybe Consumer Reports should move into this area and 'do it right'... the way it should be done.

Also, on Angie’s list, when you see 5 reviews for a subcontractor and there are 300 other competitors in the market place and there are 10 other reviews for all of them put together, you know the 5 reviews are fake. Yet, people fall for this stuff.
My results weren't as dramatic as the Amazon reviews, but yea...if you consume 2.5ozs+ you will need to be in a well-ventilated area, preferably with a commode nearby.
