POTUS, Democrat, Bill Clinton was crowned America's first Black POTUS...he was not!!! Then Democrat, POTUS, Barack Hussein Obama, was crowned the "real" first Black POTUS, he was not either. In his eight years as POTUS, Obama did nothing, zero, da nada, zilch...for African-Americans, other then useless support banter, while he held them prisoner in his ghetto slave plantations in the major cities of the USA. Bottom line: For American Blacks...Obama was a joke!!! Obama revealed he was for Obama, and only Obama.
Come along the maverick, non-politician, POTUS, Donald J. Trump and....suddenly change and positive movement of freedom, liberty, good jobs, available jobs, prison reform, good opportunities, quality of life, the American dream is extending rapidly out to all African-Americans..period.
When POTUS, Trump says something, he means it, when he utters that his policies and agenda are for "ALL" Americans...he sincerely means it. I believe the American people will soon see a substantial, positive political shift in African-American political support for POTUS, Donald J. Trump. It is already happening!!!
In fact....Trump may truly become the first "Black POTUS".

Unless something changes, no matter how much they complain, history will show Trump’s positive impacts in many areas of government, economics, etc.

The latest NAACP poll shows that Trump has gone from 9% to 21% approval from the Black Community. Now that’s saying something. Hope it manifests at the polling booths!
I suggest you stay closely tuned to John James, an African-American, who just won the Michigan primary to become the Republican, U.S.Senator candidate, who face Democrat, Debbie Stabenow this coming November.
I believe that John James will defeat Debbie Stabenow and go on to the U.S. Senate. This guy is smart, talented, determined, focused and could easily go all the way to becoming a future great African-American POTUS.
Plus his agenda was NOT American driven. It was globalist muslim driven. Completely motivated to take America down as many notches as he could. He is and was antithetical to everything American. He proves it every chance he gets; even now with his cabal of shadow government operatives. Siding with the black Africans to take, without paying, all land owned by whites (in South Africa). That cements obama as a total racist forever. There is no redo on this one. He or his MSM spokesman will try to spin it a different way but it is what it is. Lipstick on a pig is still a pig.
I think if you break it down a little more, you will find that the three main branches of African-American politics are represented by the three mentioned Presidents.
Bill Clinton appealed to the pre-socialist W.E.B. DuBois branch. DuBois, in Souls of Black Folk, argued for the necessity of providing special support to ensure African-American success among the general (white) population, because of the "invisible veil" that kept blacks from ever being fully accepted in white society. Clinton was willing to "reform" welfare, in part because he was working with a GOP Congress and in part because it would ensure his re-election in 1996, but he supported affirmative action.
Obama appealed to the slash-and-burn branch, begun and led by groups like the Black Panthers, US, Black UHURU, and by religious leaders like Jeremiah Wright and Louis Farrakhan--no one was fooled by his too-clever-by-half denial of Wright (except maybe Wright), and in any case Obama's true allegiance has become even more evident post-presidency, most recently by his tacit-to-open support of the slash-and-burn ANC in South Africa.
Then there's Trump. He appeals to the Booker T. Washington branch, those who want to come Up From Slavery, as Booker's own book title states, by education, training, and providing goods and services that make them necessary in general society. As it becomes more and more evident that African-Americans can rise up out of their morass by the simple acts of getting a diploma, avoiding drugs and promiscuity, and finding work--which is now available because of the present economy--such people will gain their own sense of dignity, and be willing to support Trump as the one who provided them the means of obtaining that dignity. What percentage of the African-American population will be willing to support Trump on that basis is anyone's guess, but the fact that Trump has secured the support of 1/4 of that population is a miracle in itself, and it wouldn't surprise me if that figure doesn't rise to 30% or even 40% in the coming years.
In fact....Trump may truly become the first “Black POTUS”.

Like many; I had hoped the first African Prez would do all Americans proud. Instead it was the opposite.
I didn’t have any opposition to a black Prez at the time but after seeing what the usurper did; I’m not so open to the idea of giving another black a shot at that office anytime soon. Maybe in a couple hundred years when hopefully racism by blacks is a thing of the past.
Even with such a recent and stark example of why the founders were correct to exclude the children of foreign nationals from being President with the natural born citizen requirement, we still have lots of people here on FR arguing that Anwar Al-Awlaki’s kids, born in Yemen to one citizen parent, are natural born citizens.
Same as Ted Cruz.

The Republicans keep saying the Dims are dividing us along lines, but then we go out & start tabulating votes, jobs, home ownership... along the same lines.
