Tell someone who cares Melissa.
I need evidence or it didn’t happen.
so essentially she’s saying she wanted her career more than anything else, more than righting a wrong?
She poses the questions, what would have you done in her situation?
I dont see that she “posed question”, I see that she had choices to make and chose to continue to do things to further her career against her knowing it was not ok, not the best choice, against her own gut/mind/belief. That to me is someone who cares more for career than in standing firm to do the right thing in a tough situation. We all have done it at times, some live a life of choosing career or their wants over doing the right thing. I’m just mentioning it. Everyone gets to choose as they want, but there are consequences, and seems she still not happy with some of her choices the way this article worded which makes her sound like a continuing victim in situations hse had no control. But in reality she chose to victimize herself repeatedly after the mentioned initial incident.
I’m sensing a vulnerable young woman here - not an attention seeker.
Your comments are undeserved.
Do you read the article? I am glad she came forward.
Conservative Christians ought to know better than to get involved with Hollywood Satanists.
She could have gone to the police and had him arrested for rape and assault. I didn’t see any mention of a mother and father in the article. A parent should never leave their child in the hands of Hollywood perverts.
Did you read the article??
She posed many questions, which is why I asked what you would have done.
I can’t believe that you blame the victim, even when she was 18, conservative, Christian, and a virgin.
It’s like you never read the article.
Ever hear of Kirk Douglas raping virgin Natalie Wood? #meToo will go into the garbage disposal of history.
is it only me who finds the article beyond disjointed?
Agree. As is typical with FReepers, I could jump in with the snarky “I guess she didn’t want it that way,” but reading the article, it rings true for me.
She’s a victim. Very sad.
I’m wondering though with the democratization of content distribution if she could work via YouTube/MySpace, etc. to cultivate an audience. Yes, it’s definitely a harder road, but for someone with some previous success, is that approach viable?
Consider the target audience......................
Very easy to say when you aren’t in the situation. Did you read the article? He had the money, she didn’t, he “had the most powerful litigator in the country”. And it would have shut down the production of the film.
It’s like you never read the article.
Disgusting that you blame an 18 year old conservative Christian virgin.
Thanks!
Thanks!
I agree with you.
