This Brennan thing is in the political arena where rationale and common sense have no seat at the table.
The simple fact is, Brennan has been going on CNN and using it as a forum to bash the president.
Trump finally said that's enough and yanks his clearance. Now the Left is attacking Trump for revoking the clearance, coming up with every excuse in the book for why Trump couldn't and shouldn't have done it.
The Right mostly supports Trump for pulling it and sticks up for his right to do so.
That is what this Brennan thing is all about.
Not national security but partisan politics.
No way should Brennan or any ex-employee of the government keep their security clearance after they are no longer employed.. That’s plain crazy! It seems to me to be creating a possibly very dangerous situation for our country if this is allowed to happen.
Brennan is fighting the revocation,
not the suspension of his clearance.
A revocation makes it impossible to
obtain a clearance in the future,
should he be be employed by the
government again.
