Why Some Scientists Say Global Warming Is Out and Global Cooling Is In
American Thinker ^ | 10/23/2018 | By Justin Haskins and H. Sterling Burnett

In a world riddled with climate-change doomsday predictions, a small but growing number of scientists are saying the highly touted climate models predicting steadily increasing global temperature due to humans’ carbon-dioxide emissions are wrong and that Earth could soon face something even more dire: global cooling.

One such climate scientist is Valentina Zharkova, an astrophysicist at Northumbria University in the United Kingdom. Zharkova and her team of researchers say that based on mathematical models of the Sun’s magnetic activity, it’s likely Earth will experience decreasing magnetic waves over a 33-year period beginning in 2021.

Zharkova is not alone. In 2017, researchers at the Physical Meteorological Observatory Davos, the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology, ETH Zurich, and the University of Bern published a model projecting a cooling period “in 50 to 100 years’ time.” Numerous other studies have made similar projections. Indeed, the website NoTricksZone lists hundreds of peer-reviewed papers that argue solar activity and solar cycles have a substantial influence on global climate change on decadal, century-long, and millennial time scales. Some of these papers even argue that solar activity is often the dominant factor driving climate change.

The researchers say reduced solar magnetic activity has previously been linked to historically cool periods in Earth’s history, such as the Maunder Minimum, a period of lower magnetic activity associated with a “mini ice age” that occurred from 1645 to 1715. During the Maunder Minimum, temperatures plummeted to such an extreme degree that Londoners held “frost fairs” on the frozen Thames River.

Writing for the New York Times, historian Geoffrey Parker notes, “The unusual cold that lasted from the 1620s until the 1690s included ice on both the Bosporus

2021? It’s started already.

I see they have come full circle since the 1970s. Cooling... warming... Cooling again

Immediate reminder of high school days. Back then I was going to move south.

But no. They had to change it so now here I am happy as can be in northern Michigan and boom!

Dont have enough. This morons have been actively cooling the planet for well over a decade. We are going back to the caves. Where stupid apes belong. Need some practice on my cave wall painting skills anyway.

Nope. Not one scientist thinks Global Warming science is settled. Only political scientists think that.

At least now the poles won’t melt, resulting in the death of all the polar bears, submerging the Maldives and other islands, and drowning people in coastal areas. The usual suspects, with the assistance of the idiot lamestream media, will need to dream up some comparable scare stories for global cooling.

Horrible to watch good budding scientists, who publish a great PhD dissertation and paper, only to see them years later on the Climate Change money rules bandwagon. When that keyword Climate Change appears in the abstract, you know you are reading a paper written in a brothel.

So it’s Global Cooling as Fall sets in, and Global Warming as Spring comes along. All this is predicated on being in the Northern Hemisphere though. Got it.

Mother Nature’s fault.

The cool weather arrived in TX two weeks early this year.

[[“it’s likely Earth will experience decreasing magnetic waves over a 33-year period beginning in 2021.”]]

Which will result in cooling, but fret not- the left has a plan for the cooling- they will ‘Adjust their figures’ claiming ‘A Satellite drifted off course, and the readings were wrong’

Yes folks, that is exactly how they explained the 20 year cooling period we recently had-= They threw out the figures from one satellite, claiming it drifted off course, and invented new numbers ‘based on what they should have been had the satellite not veered off course’

Michael Mann, a professor at Pennsylvania State University who created the controversial “hockey stick graph,” told the Washington Post in 2015 the effect of lower solar activity would be “a drop in the bucket” compared to the effects of carbon dioxide.

Folks, that is all you need to know right there about the global warming hysteria liars. Mann completely gives himself away by pretending reduced solar activity would be a "drop in the bucket" as an influence over earth termperaturs. A 10 year old has enough sense and education to then ask, "so what caused the Maunder minimum and the various ice ages?" Mann's illogic is transparent on the face of it. The only baffling thing is how so many people can continue to believe in this fraud of man-made global warming.

Global cooling scares the hell out of me. Global warming, not so much. In exchange for a being a bit hotting in summers, you get less disease transmision and longer growing seasons, along with may other benefits.

Anybody paying attention knows by now that there is nothing to Climate Alarmism but a fraudulent attempt to bankrupt America, transfer American wealth to 3rd world nations, and destroy America’s world influence to people like Trump can’t stave off the desired one-world governance by whoever is pulling the strings to achieve that end.

Anybody paying attention knows that climate alarmism is a complete and total hoax. Now, the idea we could repeat a Maunder Minimum, dear Lord in Heaven, that is a terrifying prospect. In this day and age, it would paralyze us. Despite all our high tech polar fleeces and all, it would simply play havoc with our way of life. Of course, we would adapt and new technologies would help us adapt. Life goes on.

But global cooling just freaks me out to no end. No thank you. I hope I am not around to see it.

My other CONCERN, is the polar reversal. I just fear what happens when the earth’s magnetic field weakens to nothing during the reversal. I have no clue what that means for our health and lives.

You need too actually study more. The US is just fine

Perhaps you should study the Maunder Minimum

The impending minimum already has a name. It’s called the Eddy Minimum. Named after the climatologist who first identified it.

Yeap, the likelihood of a The Maunder Minimum is very high.

Remember the first very noticeable affect will be large scale droughts. I'm looking to move close to a lake.
