that is the thing that broke twitter last week . . .
Lol!
Our cat the other day got out of bed and went to front door. I asked if he wanted to have some cat food then go out.
He made a meow that clearly said, “OUTTTTTTT”.
It was shocking.
I let him out, lol.
The missus cat will yip at her at times like that.
LOL! I love the way Walter the dog suddenly stops yowling and raises his ears to listen to his mistress. Then he averts his eyes, as if feeling guilty for his behavior.
My big Maine Coon cat Bijou lets me know when her water bowl is empty. She sits or lays next to it. Sometimes she gets more demonstrative by uttering a soft Meow. In any case, I get the message and go to fill it!
Yea right, hope she doesnt have a son kids screwed, forget about a poor husband. Poor Walter gets her wrath
Main Coon cats are pretty special. We have a calico one here named Muff Puff. (my daughter’s)She is as sweet as can be. She can tell time for meals, but otherwise there is not too much in the head. When she stretches out, she is about a yard long. Her loudest meows are at dinnertime, and if it doesn’t have tuna in it, she sulks. Give Bijou a pat.
Poor Walter, but he’s really got the ‘look’ down, doesn’t he?
Muzzles are for dogs that talk back.........
Thanks for posting. We need more light moments in our days filled with the idiocy of the Left.
The lady said a key word the dog recognized. "Park". Dogs, as everyone knows by now, can learn up to 200 words but the ones they learn best and fastest are the ones they like and want. Park, treat, walk, car, ride, etc. They also learn the words they don't want to do like bath and vet.
There was a recent article saying dogs learn hand signals even better than words and you don't have to yell at them to get their attention. Of course all this depends on the dog being smart enough and trainable. I have an 11 yo that's cute as all heck but not too bright. She's still a favorite though.
LOL!
My Maine Coon Bijou is a tortie and white. The difference between a tortie and white and a calico is the extent of white. A tortie and white is less than 1/3 white, with the white basically expressed as white paws, belly, chest and perhaps a blaze (Bijou has a lovely white blaze). A calico is basically a white cat with splotches of black and red, more than 2/3 white. Tortie and white and calico are VERY rare colors for Maine Coons. It took me months of tracking litters in N. America (I used an Excel spreadsheet!) to find her. She is show quality and absolutely drop dead gorgeous, as well as a loving sweet baby girl. She's a big girl at 11 lbs, not a drop of excess weight.
Bijou is beautiful! And her yellow eyes match the yellow fur color. Looks like a fun cat to pat and pat and pat!!
I’ll see if I can figure how to send a pic of MuffPuff. Muff is calico, but about 16 pounds. An armful!!
We have 4 cats here, but brushing MuffPuff -— or any Maine Coon, makes you see how worthwhile brushing is!
Thank you. I think she's beautiful, too. She LIVES to be held, petted, and lay on one's lap.
I notice a large decline in cat fur shed on the rug after Bijou's had a trip to the groomer. I take her about twice a year for a bath, conditioner, getting the bad mats out that she won't let me work on, and nail trim (which I do at home as well). When it's shedding season in the fall and spring, her coat gets oily and forms mats faster than a speeding bullet. Even though I groom her a lot and work out these mats, sometimes they form on her belly, which she won't let me work on (although she certainly encourages me to rub!). The professional grooming is totally worth it, and I do not take her to Petco or PetSmart, where 47 dogs have been killed after people brought them in for grooming.
I had a car wreck last week and am driving a rental while my own car is being fixed.
The rental specifically said “NO PETS”
Penny is deeply saddened that we haven’t gone hiking in the woods for over a week!
This is something we do every day, and she is NOT pleased. LOL.
