Oh, and since the Senate will not have anything legislative to do, with the House only producing insane nonsense, it can spend all its time getting to the bottom of the FBI/DOJ scandals especially with Lindsey Graham in the judiciary chairmanship - so that should be entertaining!

Get rid of Paul Ryan.

Get to have two years of Nancy Pelosi, et al, going into a presidential election.

Congress can’t pass anything.

The Senate can confirm more judges.

I think it will make for a better 2020.

The Rats now actually have to do something other than just bitch about Trump.

They will overplay their hand. Bet on it.

Per PBS, a lot of the dem house pickups are political newbs that ran on moderate, fixing gridlock type messages. They are going to have to be herded quickly for the dems to create the chaos predicted here.

House and Senate would have to both pass anything and send it to the President, before the new session is seated.

If the House passes something but the Senate does not agree to it in time, the new Congress can pull it back on day one.

No Congress can bind the next.

They can still pass bills (including wall funding) in the lame duck, as long as both Houses pass it.

We will see if the President gets screwed on wall funding by the RINOs, or if they honor their deals.

It pretty much sucks. No wall, no tax cuts, impeachment, gun grabs, etc.

Just what the Republicans DESERVE for electing Ryan as Speaker.

Bears Repeating

Ryan is a democrat sapper. Bought and paid for. I hear he just hangs around the congressional gym, lifting his little kettlebells and staring at himself in the mirrors.

What they are basically going to do is harm Trump, the economy and the country as much as they possibly can for the next 2 years to harm his chances at reelection

"Go ahead, make my day". If they go down that path, Trump will roll in 2020, and you will see a real "Red Wave".

The President needs a House Republican majority to pass good immigration reform.

yes, that will be their agenda. Gawd, the screeching we will hear. ugh

We need to realize that the dems base of voting is African Americans and Hispanics, split those votes even 60/40 and the Dems wouldn’t have anymore than 100 house seats or 10 Senate seats

Pelosi? She’s going to face revolt in her own party. This is going to be an epic democrat, faggy cat fight to see if the Marxist / Lenist wing of their dysfunctional party can wrest control from the bitter old white ladies and homosexuals.

This is going to be great

Crap load of meaningless and impotent investigations in all facets of the Trump Administration, the economy as well as civil issues, yet be very expensive.

Dems need to go hard left to remain viable to their voters which will turn off a lot of independents.

Trump will have a lot of material to work with.

Trump is going to try and make deals, but get shunned. Again this will piss-off independents.

Road to 2020 starts in January, should be fun.

Biggest problem is the army of gibsmedats armed with a ballot; far more dangerous than a pyscho with a gun, at least we can shoot back.

First, Trump will call for a huge brainstorming session of how to workaround a demon controlled Congress.

Second, Trump will order ALL FISA documents released immediately.

Third, Trump will have his people looking at thousands of sealed indictments for any applicable to current and incoming Congressional office holders.

Fourth, Trump will encourage the rapid passing of as much pending legislation as possible - perhaps some type of omnibus spending authorization as well.

All of the hard work his administration has done to get ahead of schedule will now be put to good use!

Everyone should stop whining about this. Its not like Ryan's house was much help to Trump before... so we have 2 years of crazies yapping in the house.

Now is the time to release the FISA docs, replace Sessions and drain the swamp. We can make a clean sweep in 2020.

Exactly. Ridding the GOP of its’ deadwood was a necessary, albeit painful in the short-term, process.

Now we can focus on 2020, and that’s the BIG ONE, with new blood, and a party firmly behind President Trump.

And as for the Mitt Romney’s of the world, he’d better get on board, or else he will be rendered completely irrelevant.
