How could Trump be damaged politically? They already claim he’s Hitler, and anything short of murder isn’t going to damage his base support.
Whatever Mueller’s findings, the media will act like Trump is Hitler, Nixon and Satan all rolled up into one evil dude.

The moment Muelller’s report is released Trump will release all the docs he has authorized for declassification.
I don’t care what it is as long as John Kerry Mueller is arrested as soon as he releases the damn thing.

I expect the report to detail every time that anyone who has ever been in the same room with POTUS, has had contact of any way, shape, or form, with anyone who has ever lived in or been to Russia.
This will take up many, many pages. The MSM will be able to talk about the thousands of pages of “evidence” against POTUS in the Russian collusion investigation. This will go on for months.
As a Constitutional scholar, AD is first rate.
As a prognosticator of public opinion, he is about the worst , I mean meshuggah. He thinks these discussions about foreign banking fly above the head of the average Trump supporter. And that somehow we will recoil in horror. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Take Trump stronghold Kentucky for instance which I think Trump won by 2-1 over Cankles. GE appliances are now Chinese Haier. Or if you live in the Bluegrass, you have seen Emirates (Dubai) and Saudi money there for an eon. Foreign money don’t mean shit, Hesh.
This is actually a pro-Trump comment, whether Dershewitz intended it that way or not.
It is best to manage expectations - and this comment helps do that. Implicitly, by being devoid of criminal charges, the report will exonerate Trump, but explicitely, we must be prepared for the reality that the report will have only bad things to say about Trump - and the MSM will make it look as damning as possible.
Dershewitz is not pro-Trump, but I
think he is genuinely on Trump’s side in this one matter - the Russia investigation - collusion/obstruction/impeachment.
I think Dershewitz is doing us a favor by managing expectations.
Another area where expectations should have been managed better was the midterm elections - in retrospect, I wish I had been convinced keeping the Republican House was impossible - Trump
totally exceeded all reasonable expectation, but yet here we are, with a sense of defeat and disappointment.

The whole purpose of the Mueller report is to run interference for any investigation into Hillary... so look for accusations of things like mis-handling of emails, pay for play with regards to his hotels, election meddling with Russians via social media... no actual crimes committed... just a place to say, well if you want to investigate Hillary for this, then you have investigate Trump for that.... it is all so predictable.

We just don’t trust the messengers, the lawyers, or the damnable DNC whose dance they dance. They are not deserving trust.
