That would be a sight.

I remember when I lived in Virginia Beach, every time a carrier would come into Norfolk, they would fly the planes to Oceana first.

There is a small lake at Oceana NAS where we used to hang out and watch aviators practice their touch and go landings.

Awesome.

Imagine the families seeing that.

At Randolph the F18s -the blue Angels- were doing a run through on a Friday afternoon day before the air show. They were screaming just over the neighborhood treetops for like an hour.

Hub, a combat USAF fighter pilot, drove up after work, got out of his car in the driveway, in flight suit, took his gear out of the backseat as the F18s roared, rumbled and shook over our backyard at what? 500 feet?

Hub smirked saying, ‘those Navy guys really hang it out.’
