Intolerant Liberals [The Way Progressives Think and My Response]

Growing up as a conservative Christian, I was warned about secular, liberal relativism. Nothing’s really bad, who knows, it’s all relative. We had to be careful about such slippery slopes. After the gays got us to buy into such poor logic, then would come the goats, then the children, then the Satan worship would follow. But it turns out that this sort of relativism is entirely a myth of the right. The only people who ever try to implore relative logic (at this sort of crass level) are conservatives. Trying to play "gotcha" with liberals. And it’s exhausting.

I have some difficult news for everyone: Progressives aren't interested in diversity. We aren't interested in inclusion. We aren't interested in tolerance. The progressives I know give exactly zero shits about those things.

We have no interest in everyone getting treated the same. We have no interest in giving all ideas equal airtime. We have no interest in "tolerating" all beliefs. I don't know where this fairy tale comes from, but it's completely disconnected from every experience I've had with progressive liberal folks in my lifetime...

My response to Tucker...

Tucker, you are not revealing anything we conservatives don't already know about progressives like you. We know you aren't interested in diversity, inclusion, niceness, tolerance, life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness, "shits"(colorful expletives are your native language), etc. You are a totalitarian and you wear the shoes proudly! It is actually refreshing to read your open and transparent article by a progressive totalitarian like you, Tucker, in this day of "fake news". You are to be commended for your honesty.

Totalitarians like you define evil as anything you disagree with. Truth is what resides in your heart and nothing in the universe can challenge it; not logic, not natural law, not reason, not universal truths, not God's Word, and not God Himself! It's sacrosanct! Progressives like you prove this by putting millions of innocent babies to death each year in the womb.

Thank you for being honest by showing that even though people like you promise (and demand) a utopia of equality, it is not an egalitarian end that you really want. You desire the annihilation of opposing ideas! Why? Because ideas naturally oppose each other. As long as the rule of law prevails, the marketplace of ideas will often expose totalitarian ideas and marginalize them. Like the many infamous totalitarians before you, you have been "enlightened" to see that it the system prevents you from fulfill your ideas. It is the prevailing order and the rule of law that restrains you and every totalitarian. Like you say, this order must be "overturned" in order to forever enthrone your ideas.

Merit and accomplishment are inherently evil to totalitarians. They hate the fact that people can choose their careers and have the freedom to rise or fall based on their choices (until they are in control, that is.) You hate the fact that all presidents have been elected by the populace, women and minorities included for over a hundred years. That 45 Christian men have been democratically elected, and selected their supreme court justices with congressional approvals, only shows the systemic racism, Islamophobia, mysogynism, homophobia, transphobia, etc. The Komintern would have made these choices without such biases.

The single greatest predictor or poverty in America is single parent families. You want to be poor? Get a divorce. You want to be impoverished? Have children out of wedlock. Despite studies showing that the black family unit in America is 75–80% single parent households, racism must be the root cause of poverty in this community, right Tucker? The good news is that regardless of where you come from, you can work hard (like President Obama) and rise above your current state in America today.

Yes Tucker, there is no room for Christian professors in our progressive totalitarian collegiate social engineering echo chambers, just like there was no room for Baby Jesus in the Inn. The sacred cows of Darwin, Freud, and Marx can and must never be challenged. No problem, statistics are showing that the progressive totalitarian collegiate system in America is doomed. Social engineering has not prepared students with skills to serve their your fellow man. It has only embittered them, indebted them, and stolen their faith. Salt that loses its saltiness is only good for being trodden on. Tucker, my children are taking online engineering classes from some of the best (non-political) professors on the planet in subjects like AI, Autonomous Operation, Blockchain, etc! You wouldn't want us "stupid", "unthinking" and "not worthy of debate", people in your Colleges anyway.

Tucker, don't lecture us on gender equality, racial equality, etc. We invented these terms! Perhaps you have not traveled to other countries? Women and blacks can do anything in America; even become President if they so wish. They can serve on the Supreme court, lead the military, start a business, start a church, or Mosque, or cult if they want.

Tucker, perhaps you have forgotten that Jesus Christ died to save gay people from their sins, just he died for you and me. As the scripture says, "greater love has no man than to lay his life down for his friends" (John 15). Jesus offers love, forgiveness, and salvation to all sinners, but he does not commission sin. He does not command governments to commission sin. Wouldn't commissioning sin be "hate" if it resulted in the destruction of a precious soul?

Why do people like you, Tucker, always resort to calling us conservatives Hitler? It is quite tiresome. Hitler was not a Christian. He did not believe in free markets, equal rights, love your neighbor as yourself, etc. Hitler was a progressive totalitarian like you, Tucker. He "actually" killed Christians, conservatives, Jews, gypsies and others that you talk about overthrowing.

Tucker, if you were studied in history you would know that Western democracies have been the wonder of history for the last 250 years. Prior to this, regime changes were always accompanied by blood with the unlucky political dead counted in the thousands and millions. I am personally glad to have lived in this time in history. You are not. Like the forefathers of your world view (e.g. Jacobins, Bolsheviks, National Socialists, Mao, Pol Pot, Civil War Democratic Party, etc.), you do not have the patience to wait four years to vote for your cause. You know what you want and you are willing to do whatever it takes to see it to fruition.

Yes Tucker, you do have a right to your opinion. I served 8 years for the US Army in war time to assure that you still have the right to write crazy articles calling for the overthrow of our system, history, and your conservative Christians brothers. I swore to defend the constitution of the United States from all enemies foreign and domestic. I believe in the rule of law and borders. Coming from a family of legal immigrants, I expect all other immigrant families to come in legally. I defend the borders of my land/home and expect my country to defend its lands/homes. After all, what is a country but a group of lawful people working together to protect their homes, families, and futures?

Just so you know, Tucker, I have a masters in Theological studies and grew up in a conservative Christian family with a strong affinity for life, equal rights, and "love your neighbor as yourself." I also have an undergrad degree in Business and Computer Science and teach as adjunct faculty with a Big 10 university. I am currently an Engineering Director with a firm in the Midwest and served 8 years in the United States Army. Except for the Army, we seem to have a similar background, however that is where are similarities end.
