P&G Challenges Men to Shave Their ‘Toxic Masculinity’ in Gillette Ad
Spot pegged to #MeToo asks ‘Is this the best a man can get?’
Gillette is embracing the #MeToo movement in a new digital ad campaign aimed at men, the latest message from an advertiser attempting to change societal norms.
The ad, dubbed “We Believe,” opens with audio of news about the current #MeToo movement, bullying and “toxic masculinity.” A narrator then goes on to dispute the notion that “boys will be boys,” asking, “Is this the best a man can get? Is it? We can’t hide from it. It has been going on far too long. We can’t laugh it off, making the same old excuses.”

Good on you! There needs to be more of these type of proactive statements made to these companies!
I went with Harry’s. Great shave for a fraction of the price.
I bought my box of Feather blades ten years ago...I’m only about a quarter of the way through it. If you get a nice safety razor with a nicely weighted head it is a dream to shave with...and honestly I’m just as fast with it.
Are women’s shavers going to launc a “Don’t be such a bitch” ad campaign?
Maybe they think you’re an Islamic fanatic about to commit an act of ‘martyrdom’...(The 9-11 hijackers shaved everything off the night before).

Gillette SPITS IN THE FACE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS AND THEN HAS THE UNMITIGATED GUAL TO EXPECT THEM TO CONTINUE BUYING THEIR OVERPRICED GARBAGE.

If they are “macho” they will contact Gillette and tell them to shove their razors where the sun doesn’t shine. (and the execs who designed this campaign as well).
