Just a thought. How does one become a "credible" news analyst? It seems that all of a sudden there is an abundance of analysts and panelists, about 1/5 of which have any credibility or knowledge about the subjects which they are analyzing.

We have the 24-hour cable news cycle to thank (or in this case, blame). These so-called “news” outlets need content to fill time; hence the overabundance of know-nothing propagandists they call analysts. That’s one profession I’d like to see become replaced by robots soon.

With the exception of a very few print media and voice media, the phrase “news analyst” needs to be changed to “opinion analyst”....

They probably all had the same professors in college. The universities then have a pipeline to the hiring departments in all the media organizations.

Pretend to be an expert at something which is diametrically opposed to Conservative values. Even better if you were part of that administration in some capacity, or better than that, a part of an administration which was active in destroying Conservative values.
