Zecharia Sitchin got his 15 minutes of fame coming up with fake translations from the Sumerians about Anunnaki from the planet Nibiru. Then that vile hoaxter Nancy Lieder took it further and claimed the world would end in 2003 as Nibiru shot through the solar system flipping planets on their poles. When that didn’t happen, she changed it to 2012. The UFO research business is full of crackpots, and as a result you can’t believe any of them.
One discrepancy. Stichin is now not the only one who can read these. It’s an understood language now just like Egyptian hieroglyphics and Linear A. It wasn’t just a one time translation. They are finding new tablets everyday and translating them. Those tablets still all read the same. If Lieder expounded on Stichin’s translations that’s on her, she had no right.
