FTDNA rocks. They are a great company and I’d gladly donate my DNA to catch a criminal.

GEDmatch already has enough DNA to identify 1/2 the people in the US. If they don’t have your DNA they have a relatives. The cat is out of the bag.

Or “click here to unsubscribe” spam emails...
I was thinking it would be interesting to get a sample from some psycho killer on death row, submit that, and then sue the crap out of them for sharing it with the FBI or whoever.

Or...I could opt out of participation in the DNA numbskullery scam altogether and avoid the problem entirely...Nobody can “share” (with the Federal Bureau of Incineration or any other entity) what they don’t have...

The easiest way to opt out of anyone getting your DNA is to just never voluntarily give it to anyone.
And to think millions of people pay ancestry type outfits just to give it to the FBI. People this dumb deserve to be in all the databases.
To: Shadow44
So the FBI just secretly gets the DNA instead of officially getting it. At a higher price, because WHAT HAVE THEY GOT TO HIDE?

The Family Tree DNA is inadmissible in a court of law.
