Hillary Clinton on Thursday said that “Game of Thrones” is the television show that most accurately reflects her life in politics.
The former secretary of State was asked during a New York event to pick which small screen depiction gets Washington right.
“May I ask you — this is a question I get a lot because I lived a life in politics, nothing like yours — which is closer to reality of life in politics, which TV show? 'The West Wing' or 'Veep?'” moderator Paul Begala asked.
“Oh, probably ‘Game of Thrones,’” Clinton quipped as the audience laughed. “At least in my experience.”
The former presidential candidate has referenced the pop-culture phenomenon in the past and compared herself to the ruthless character of Cersei Lannister.
She wrote in her post-election memoir “What Happened” that she saw her treatment at the hands of Trump supporters to be similar to the treatment the powerful queen received.
“Crowds at Trump rallies called for my imprisonment more times than I can count,” she writes. “They shouted, ‘Guilty! Guilty!’ like the religious zealots in ‘Game of Thrones’ chanting

One might be tempted to compare Hillary to Queen Cersei, but I respect Cersei much more than Hillary Clinton. And Lena Headey (the actress) is far more easy on the eyes, and the ears.

I remember them playing "dress up" at the Kavanaugh hearings. I'm sure they are all anxiously awaiting Halloween so they can wear their "thrones' costumes.
