He was looking right at Lisa Noland before he left. He raped Lisa and would have killed her too but she was clever and managed to get away and because of her he was executed today.
Is it true these people really don’t have a conscience? Or was he just angry he did not kill Lisa too and now was going to die in prison?

Theologically, experienced exorcists tell us there is such a thing as "perfect possession" by a demon. Whereas in most cases, a person's body is possessed against their will, in "perfect possession," a person voluntarily gives over themselves to Satan or other demons. He may appear normal on the outside but his will is entirely under control of the demonic.
Psychologically, there are such things as sociopaths. A sociopath is a person with a psychopathic personality whose behavior is antisocial, often criminal, and who lacks a sense of moral responsibility or social conscience.
I'd be willing to believe he was one or the other of these.

Read the book “Without Conscience” by Dr Robert Hare. He’s studied psychopaths in detail. He also co-authored “Snakes In Suits”.
Fourteen percent of the population have limited or no conscience which, among other personality characteristics, qualifies them as psychopaths. The good news is only a small percentage of that 14% are killers.
I personally knew one such person, a female co-worker and she actually threatened to kill me but never went beyond the threat.
When this girl acted out she had absolutely no remorse. All of her problems were someone else’s fault. She was very charming. Her life’s goal was to bed every guy she knew, in particular cops. I would not fall for it, which had her plotting against me and using her powers to persuade the cops I was a bad guy.
