"I went kind of nuts LOL."

What? YOU? LOL! I'm going to 'shop' that sale this afternoon, too! My garden is pretty much in except for a few odds and ends.

I am raising FOUR puppies right now, so I wait until they've passed out after lunch (which they just had) and then I sneak down to the garden to work. They are really not all that helpful, though they seem to think that they are! They are never locked in the kennels; I raise Free Range Puppies. My last litter had SEVEN, so this is actually pretty easy.

Three Treeing Walker Coon Hounds and one Plott Hound. Temporary names are: Hambone, Tipper & Sunshine. The Plott, Oneida, has his Big Boy Name, already. Sunshine is going to a friend, so I'm waiting to hear what he wants me to start calling her for training. We are keeping the other two Coon Hounds, so Beau needs to name them pretty quick!

We’ve planted a lot of milkweed this spring.

Mrs. Augie has a bunch of herbs growing in pots on the deck. She noticed yesterday that her parsley was being devoured by swallowtail caterpillars. We also notice them on the florence fennel.

I’ll have to check my Parsley, too - and maybe plant some more for them!

Morning all! Things are growing well here in west Michigan. We always have good romaine so that is all we grow, red and white. A couple of years ago I tried cutting the mature heads off with a scissors or sharp knife. Did that on 2 red heads 5 days ago and you can see the regrowth. Still a few asparagus spears each day. Eating green onions, waiting on radishes and hoeing weeds every 3 days or so. Irises still opening love the show so far.

one of my favorites, a large frilly pink

4 colors of violets done blooming, the white ones always seem to hang on the longest and are the most prolific.

Looking forward to the rest of the irises, also have some lupines and a beautiful 2 tone japanese peony coming.

You have the gorgeous ones. I always envy the northeast for one reason, the big rhododendrons. Spectacular specimens, the irises actually look like flags. Are they? Love the color.

You are being too kind. I was unhappy with the cellphone pictures I posted last week so I dug out my old canon pocket camera. Whatever you are using takes great pictures.
