The issue with her isn’t her age. She wasn’t invited back a) because she’s let herself go (horribly) and b) she’s a lesbian.
In a similar vein, I’ve noticed that game shows seem to prefer ‘married’ queers, single queers, and blacks to the virtual exclusion of whites lately. I’m starting to feel like a minority.
Doesnt surprise me. I met George “Im an asshole liberal” Clooney at the studio recently and he doesn’t look anything close to his tabloid pics. He looks horrible..

I saw a knock-down beautiful girl from high school (50 yrs ago) a while back. She only dated the top football stud at the time (got divorced). I wouldn’t say she is ugly or worse than average now, but certainly no better. Whereas really nice-looking women are interested in dating me now.
I think you answered a different question, but I agree, movie casting is its own thing, and the people in charge can hire the performers they want. Ms. McGillis seems not to want to be in movies any longer, so everyone’s fine.
My cousin is in the casting business, and my uncle told me that she’s said, “We might have hired this girl if she’d had a makeover to look the way we said we wanted the character to look.” It wasn’t anything about their basic looks, but the kind of thing a hairstylist and makeup could do.

I’ve had that countless times. A few regrets..and NOT regrets. The hot girlfriends I had in college, a majority, really let themselves go. A very few of my ex-GF’s, got better looking even after marriage. And what really got me was that the fugly girls in high school got hotter in 10 years which pissed me off LOL because I could have said yes to a date back then...

I disagree. The uglier Tommy Lee Jones gets, the better looking he gets. That goes also for Al Pacino. Women have the appearance edge over men initially, but nature turns the tables over time.
Ought to tell her that’s her future as well, after she does that ‘ohhhh’ to you.
