Stouffer's and Digiorno's will launch new meatless products.
Stouffer's meatless lasagna and Digiorno's Rising Crust Meatless Supreme will be made with Sweet Earth, a plant-based ground beef alternative.
According to a consumer survey commissioned by Nestlé USA, nearly half have either integrated plant-based meat into their diet or would consider doing so long-term and 3 in 10 who have not yet tried plant-based meat responded that would do so if they had the opportunity.
The new products will be available in stores in the spring of 2020.

Meatless meat? Not gonna like this.
Now this is Frankenfood!
Wish them well but not going to buy any.
I have a bad feeling about all this processed meat substitute stuff. As in, a decade or two from now they are going to start releasing studies that show some of the flavoring ingredients were harmful to people’s health.
Remember when margarine was good because animal fats were so bad for you? Boy did they get that all wrong. Trans fats, triglycerides and the other crap in margarine were way worse than a few nature saturated fats.
Go and be vegetarian/vegan all you want. That’s your choice and I don’t begrudge you your choices. Just don’t get in bed with the devil for it.
I could care less... Tried the meatless but taste likes meat stuff a while ago.... while it wasn’t as bad as the veggie burgers of the past, it sure didn’t taste like real meat to me...
Of course the stuff is so highly processed and salted, there is no way in hell its going to be any better for your body.
Studies have shown, again and again, the more processed a food is, ANY FOOD, the less healthy it is for you... PERIOD. Doesn’t matter if the original food was meat or plant.... The more your process it the worse it is for you... period. And you can’t get more processed that this crap.
Went to the website, got a pop-up for the American Cancer Society. This is what I call a “portent”. I’m gonna pass these up.
Never for me. Never.
I can’t think of the name of the drug, but the docs injected it into my mother-in-law when she had an internal bleed. It was a blood coagulation drug. I looked it up and discovered the food industry uses it to bind food particles together so the food will hold various shapes. Think McDonald’s Chicken McNuggets and other patty-like items. I’m thinking these meatless meat items are laced with that crap.
I wish they’d work on their cardboard-tasting crust.
You are probably galking about “meat glue”
transglutaminase, and its brand name is Activa.
It’s not like they had a lot of meat to begin with.
It’s not like they had a lot of meat to begin with.
When can I get a nice healthy salad made out of cheeseburgers?
I refuse to eat any meatless meat until such time as I am forced to by the government after the (Soylent) Green New Deal comes to pass.
And... You shouldn’t be eating this pre-packaged garbage at all. They are terrible. Watch a few videos and learn how to really cook.
Just quality and cost alone you can eat 100 times healthier and better and cheaper. I find that cooking is relaxing and knowing exactly what is in the food I eat makes me better all around. You only need about 10 decent meals to be good, and if you try at all you can make better versions of anything that comes out of a box or freezer meal.
