Police say Henry Harvey and his wife were waiting in line at the retailer around 7:15 p.m., when Harvey “became angry over the customers in front of them taking too long to check out at the register," per a news release.
Harvey and another customer then got into a verbal argument, which turned physical when Harvey punched the victim in the head. The victim was not seriously injured, police say.
Harvey then left the Walmart and went home, where police apprehended the 69-year-old and placed him under arrest. He was charged with battery.

its so sad that Walmart and all of its customers have to suffer the few percent of crazies that go there!
No one here hasn’t delt with slow cashiers and slow customers. Deal with it or risk swinging at a customer that will shoot you. Tread lightly folks it is how it is.

After being punched, the victim returned to balancing his checkbook in the line.
People have forgotten the skill of walking away from out of control crazies.
However having clerked in retail the clerks have a certain degree of control over those heated customers....walk away from the counter and get management to handle it. That goes with the job.
Perhaps it was someone moving at a snail’s pace in the self checkout? Our local Walmart only runs one or two cashier lanes and all the rest are self checkout.
This is how it is. If you are white and male and you are tired of being dissed by these minority assholes and you hit back you get arrested. The scum of the earth is now the new elite. They are untouchable.

has an experience with a fellow at Walmart last week and the fellow was an obnoxious ass.
Karma came around and then kindness followed.
After being a real jerk toward me and my friend, and becoming upset because I only smiled and moved on, he was in such a hurry to check he left his change in the dispenser.
Another shopper called out to him several times, in the manner he was speaking to us but, he exited Walmart.
The kind stranger took the money and chased the guy down and gave him his money.
Apparently this trophy human being was rather brusque toward someone who had been honest and ensured the man left with his monies.
“Merry Christmas” was the kind strangers response.
We held his spot at the register.

That’s an impressive neck for someone his age.
Something about Wal Mart just brings out the crazies. Kmart never had that, it had sane people who dressed and acted relatively normal. Wal Mart on the other hand is Halloween 365 days of the year with a little WWE thrown in for good measure.

I went thru something similar at a local WM about 3 years ago. A lady in front of me just finished paying, and I had about $50 worth of groceries loaded up onto the checkout belt. These two loud-mouthed drunks (10:30am on a Tuesday morning no less) came up in line behind me. They were loud, cussing each other like pirates. I just ignored em, but the lady in front of me quickly grabbed her groceries and hurriedly headed for the door. Meanwhile, these two azz-clowns behind me were getting louder and worse. “MFing” me, this and that, and I happened to turn around and look at them (my first mistake). The one closest to me said: “What ta F you lookin’ at, MFer?” I calmly and slowly looked him up & down, around, sideways and then said: “Well, I’m not sure what I’m looking at, but it sure as hell ain’t much.” (my second mistake). He grabbed my shoulder and took a huge swing at me, but he missed....I didn’t, and he went crashing into the candy/magazine racks....out like a light with blood spewing from his nose and mouth (my third mistake). The other one wanted no part of it, and about that time the manager and a sheriff’s deputy came rushing over and I was immediately cuffed. He took my phone, wallet, pocket knife and my 9mm (I’m a legal CC permittee and my gun was never drawn out of the holster during the whole incident). I was then escorted outside where I was locked into the back of a police SUV. Within just a few minutes, 3-4 more police units arrived with lights flashing.
About 30 minutes passed (felt like hours). Finally, they drag the two drunks out, both cuffed, one just covered in blood and tossed em into another SUV and left with them. The deputy that cuffed me came back out shortly thereafter, gave my belongings back to me, and told me to get to hell outta there. I never heard anything from it since. I hate WM.
