The Space Force is very important. Yep.
Space will be, and in some cases already is, militarized. We can either be out in front or play catch up.
Playing catch up is not recommended.

First of all, the picture is of standard Multi-Cam pattern. Any Spaceman assigned to a theater to be a liaison will need something to wear. I see Air Force/soon-to-be Space Force officers wearing this pattern already if they have deployed to the CENTCOM AOR (but most still have the ABUs).
Secondly, this article has some displays of plain ignorance. The Space Force exists to organize, train, and equip space forces. U.S. Space Command is a Combatant Command that will direct space forces. The big negotiations about to start is to haggle over which space units (and personnel) stay in the Army and Navy. [Remember: not all aircraft are in the Air Force and not all boats/ ships are in the Navy.]
As for the assertion that there is no space aggression threatening our space assets, I think that depends upon how one defines that. We aren't close to war with China or Russia--but both powers are spending vast sums of money on counterspace weaponry. The Chinese Strategic Support Forces include an "Aerospace Support Force." And are these jerkoffs aware that the Indians schwacked a target satellite with a missile shot last March?

Anything and everything that happens while Pres. Trump is in office is going to be disparaged by certain people.
If Obama had of started a Space Force and used Emoji Poop Pile uniforms they would have been fawned over as fabulous. Same ole poop, different day.

I always thought this uniform looked good. I'd want to see it after three or four washes.
While she was still out on the foredeck holding it up to dry.

It will be a decade or more before they go into space and even then 90% of their work will be on the ground.
So camo makes sense. When they have to change it they will.
Hopefully to some kind of self adapting pattern.
