An FMPD K-P unit located the suspect hiding in a chicken coop behind a nearby home.
A man who jumped off a balcony while running from the police is found guilty of obstructing an officer without violence and possession of a controlled substance.
Last July, Fort Myers police officers arrived at an apartment complex on Central Avenue in Downtown Fort Myers to investigate a fight, according to a report from the State Attorney's Office.
One officer was talking with Jeremy Jamal Moore and gathering his information when he suddenly ran and jumped off a third-floor balcony.
When Moore hit the ground, he stood up and took off running. Officers starting chasing after him and set up a perimeter in the area.
Eventually, an FMPD K-P unit located Moore hiding in a chicken coop behind a nearby home.
Police found a cigar wrapper on Moore that had a baggy fill of Eutylone, a designer drug.
Moore's sentencing is scheduled for March 23.

Lol
It’s best that they caught him. He would have felt all cooped up after a while anyway there.
Too bad he was too chicken to live up to what he did.
It wasn’t a poultry crime
He really laid an egg in this particular situation
Maybe he was just henpecked Non-Stop and turned to drugs
I guess there’s a Sunny side. since they got him before he used the drugs his brains won’t be scrambled.
Hopefully it won’t be over easy to get drugs in prison.
Or he’ll be toast
Okay I’m done
