Mark of the Beast
The Bible reveals that Satan's final game plan is for the entire world to worship him. Just as in Luke 4, he offers "the world" to people if they will bow down and worship him. We should not be surprised when we read stories about celebrities, world leaders, and elites being involved in Satanic rituals (e.g. spirit cooking, Epstein's Island, seances, etc.). Satan demands his worship and gets it, else he will not bless his followers. Lady Gaga being an example of a recent celebrity claiming she bowed to Satan in order to become a star.
Since Satan is a spirit, he must inhabit a body to receive the physical worship that he desires. He has used bodies before (Judas being the prime example) and in the last days will find a man wholly devoted to fulfilling Satan's plan on earth. A man that Satan can use to implement his designs. A man we will know as Anti-Christ. Note that the Greek Prefix, "Anti", does not mean "against", or "in opposition to", rather it means "in place of". So the Anti-Christ will be a savior of mankind "in place of" Jesus Christ.
Just as the Christian commits his body to Jesus Christ as a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1); his actions, his deeds, his thoughts. Satan, through the Anti-Christ, will demand that all 72 Genders (just kidding...men and women) commit their actions, deeds, and thoughts to Anti-Christ. In a sense, all of us already have a mark. We either have the invisible mark of Jesus Christ on our lives to follow him and commit our life to him, or we have the mark of Satan on our lives to do our "own thing" and make our "own way". However this last Mark physical mark seems to be implanted in our very being. How would this be possible? Most likely through some sort of an onboard computer that men like Bill Gates and others have touted as essential for our survival.
Revelation 13:15 The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. 16 It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark [in] their right hands or [in] their foreheads, 17 so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name. 18 This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666.
What does 666 mean? The clue comes in verse 18, it is the "number of man". What is the number of man? Man was made on the 6th day. Man is a created being. Who created man? The Triune God of the Bible that has revealed himself to creation as "Father", "Son", and "Holy Spirit". One God in Three personages. 666 means rather than worship the true and living Triune God, men who take the mark, worship "man", "man", "man". The creature worships and serves the creation rather than the creator.
In a spiritual and physical sense, trusting in man is a form of worship. Believing that man can solve the world's problems and save himself. Believing that man has answers to everything that afflicts and plagues us. Are you depressed? Man has drugs for you to take. Are you sick? Man has cures for all of our ailments. Do you need a job, government will provide (remember the Obama's gonna pay my rent and my car lady?) This man worship will culminate in a personality that will promise to meet all of these needs...but you must take his mark. This is the devil's bargain...the Faustian pact. The final transgression from which there is no turning back...
Revelation 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Headline doesn’t make sense. English not the writer’s mother tongue? Gates is claiming deity? Does not compute.

It's the numerical value for "Nero Caesar" as written in greek.
John Lennon actually became a Christian in his last days. When someone asked him about Imagine he shrugged and said, “It was just a song, that’s all.” John was very self-indulgent in his music...if the mood hit and he felt sad or depressed or what have you it immediately went into a song (”Mother,” “Working Class Hero,” etc.)
