Hydroxychloroquine's mechanism of action appears to be how it acts as a strong zinc ionophore (i.e. pushing extra zinc into the intracellular space) and allowing that zinc to inhibit the enzyme that the virus is using to replicate. Two other zinc ionophores that are over the counter are Quercetin (flavonol) and EGCG (found in high concentrations in "matcha" green tea) and also available as a supplement.

Here is Dr. Zelenko's 'Zev' treatment regimen:

Patients treated with three drug regimen:

1- hydroxychloroquine 200mg twice a day for 5 days
2- azithromycin 500mg once a day for 5 days
3- zinc sulfate 220mg once a day for 5 days

CONCLUSION - TREAT AS EARLY AND AS AGGRESSIVELY AS POSSIBLE IN THE OUTPATIENT SETTING

KEY KNOWLEDGE POINTS:

Zinc inhibits the enzyme that the virus is using to replicate.

Chloroquine helps push Zinc inside the cells.

This is Nobel Prize material (in gentler times).

But the nastiness of the dangerous politics we are living through will seek to destroy this cure.

Expect Zev to be attacked, insulted, ridiculed.

Fortunately, President Trump has got his back.

And note, without Donald Trump, none of this would see the light of day. Donald Trump as a young man was taught by his father that when running a business, you not only listen to your managers, you also go out onsite and listen to the workers to crosscheck and verify reports coming from managers so that you won't be insulated, out of touch, so that you have a more complete view.

So it is that the White House is now trained to keep an ear out for what Americans are reporting from local areas. Zev mentions Rudy and the new Chief of Staff Mark Meadows. Note that Hydroxychloroquine is made from quinine. As a prophylaxis to coronavirus SARS-COV-2, consider the following which contains quinine and supplement with Zinc tablets.

I drink tonic water regularly for leg craps but the Quinine content in a 7.5oz container is far lower than “therapeutic level”.

The Quinine content of Tonic water is ~ 65mg/liter and the therapeutic level of Quinine to treat Covvid-19 is 200mg. So would would need to drink ~ 3 liters a day to receive a therapeutic level of Quinine.

Sorry, but I really don’t thinkl you’re probably doing yourself a lot of god as the general “concensus” of a prophylactic dosage would be ~ (A loading dose of 10mg base/kg, followed by 155 mg daily 250mg chloroquine phosphate salt or 200mg hydroxychloroquine sulphate) taken for 3 months.)

It’s important because this pandemic could be followed with other strains and mutations.

People that adapt their lifestyle to a daily consumption forming prophylactic defense shouldn’t be affected or at most minimally so.

Antibodies currently form only when contracting the virus but help in on the way with antibody injections.

But injection delivery could be fraught with nasty politics and peril.
