How do you post videos (like https://www.facebook.com/sherrieneely.austin/videos/2900587103366735/) on FR?
You don’t, all you can do is provide a hotlink to the video.
Replace my )) with > or (( with >
If you send her a private response you can just send her the HTML code as there is no HTML code processed in private responses. 8>)
By posting the link to the video.
Ever has it been so, and ever shall it be.
That’s awesome.
How do you post a gif?
Freerepublic is 20th century tech. You copy and paste a link and tell people to open it.
It was a huge discovery for me this week that with most of the commercial software used by other forums on the interwebs, you can use the windows snipping tool to capture anything on your screen you want, go to post a message, and hit paste, and there it is. Even facebook.
But I think they use an in-house created application based on perl here. No ads. All voluntarily supported.
Just saw the vid! How CUTE!!!
I put spaces between the angle brackets and what comes before or after so it would show up on this post. Don't do that. There should be no space between the first angle bracket and a and between " and the last bracket. On the other side of the link, there should be no space between the first angle bracket and / and between a and the final bracket. When done properly, your hyperlink should read,
This is so perfect! I love it. Thank you Robert DeLong!
That’s a good idea.
Right at the top of the main forum page, you will see a group of subjects in blue. One of them is called HTML Sandbox.

The easiest way ever to add hotlinks and pictures is to use an online HTML editor. Easy.
