I can’t believe the police stood by and did nothing. I do believe they just, as officers of the state, did infringe upon Ms. Malkin’s First Amendment right to speak.
She should sue the venue and the cops; I know normally police are exempt from lawsuits but I wonder if some exception will be made or created, or if it already exists, for deliberate dereliction of duty. I’m not familiar with the law in that area.
It’s not safe to speak freely in the “free rpeech” protests.
Armed security must go with such speakers.
She may have been assaulted but brutally beaten? I have not seen any pics of her with missing teeth and black eyes. Not trying to minimize this but frequently “our” news sources are more interested in click than conveying truth

Most cops today have been raised on a steady diet of hate-America spewed by SJW teachers, clergy, TV, movies, etc.. They are commanded by Chiefs of Police who are appointed by radical mayors for their loyalty not competence in police work. I suspect that most of them sympathize with the rioters, looters, vandals, and arsonists. They are more than will to “stand down” in the face of mobs and still get paid.
That’s why I’m never surprised when I learn that a policeman or an entire police force stands by and lets the leftist goons have their way.
Let’s face it the cavalry aint coming to rescue us. If rescuing is needed, we have to do it ourselves.
