From J. Matze, Parler.Sunday (tomorrow) at midnight Amazon will be shutting off all of our servers in an attempt to completely remove free speech off the internet.

We will try our best to move to a new provider right now as we have many competing for our business, however Amazon, Google and Apple purposefully did this as a coordinated effort knowing our options would be limited and knowing this would inflict the most damage right as President Trump was banned from the tech companies.
This was a coordinated attack by the tech giants to kill competition in the market place. We were too successful too fast. You can expect the war on competition and free speech to continue, but don’t count us out.
It was rumored that Trump was in negotiations with Parler to do “something”.... any truth to that?

Free Republic does not rely on the Cloud and can move to new servers. They could attempt to de-list in the DNS, but users can work around that.
yea it would be nice if Jim you know, actually address what is going on and FR is safe.

I haven’t heard anything about that. Sad day for America. Conservatives are roaming around trying to find a place to communicate. Most of us fought for this country. This is unbelievable

Very interesting. I signed up for Parler and Gab about 24 hours ago and have yet to receive a confirmation email from either. Are they that overloaded with signups?
