Why, how on earth could a man take his wife and child to that God-forsaken country? And then allow them to stay once Biden was placed in the White House. And not know the end of the situation when Biden was so placed?
I have advice for anyone in any country whose safety depends on Biden being strong. It ain’t gonna happen. Get out now. The Biden administration acts in a decisive and strong manner only against Americans. It gives its enemies lists of targets to refrain from hitting and ask them to be kind enough to comply.
Really feel for our brave and dutiful people there who have sacrificed so much for vile politicians who use them as cannon fodder.
The same kind of idiots who think they can do charity work with ISIS.
He still could have sent his wife and daughter on as conditions have a way of changing unexpectedly. It’s not like the Taliban were holding back any punches, but apparently the administration that was in control certainly was.

I must admit, I expected this.
Once Obama got elected I knew Afghanistan couldn’t be stabilized. You can’t use rules of engagement to fight a war. Honestly, we can’t even protect our own borders, and the only real threat democrats can see is from White Christians males, because we are so dangerous. The General in charge of the armed forces and the POTUS own this one.
I hope the innocent get out of the way, but the Taliban don’t follow ‘rules of engagement’, and don’t bring lawyers on patrol.

Well, there is that inconvenient piece of wisdom that says that history will continue to repeat itself until we learn from the past. But, like most truisms - it was ignored and we get to play groundhog day.

A CIA guy said early last week that Kabul would be safe for at least three months. So it’s not just Biden who is rotten. The whole damn structure is rotten.
Back in better days, that lack of permission would have been soundly ignored.
I certainly hope and pray that these people will be safe, but I don’t know what kind of fool has a wife and baby with them in a war zone.

What idiots take their baby to a war zone? Oh, yeah, it's Pedro and his wife. It's been a war zone for the past decade so it's not like they didn't have fair warning. As a journalist (reporters have long since gone by the wayside), he should have seen things revving up but he doesn't love his family enough to have sent them out long before.
No way I would do it.
Perhaps Mustafa’s child was conceived in Afghanistan after a marriage there.
