Exactly- and many people rush themselves to the hospital over the most minor things, like sniffles, if they are scared- so it’s meaningless unless they provide numbers of actual serious conditions that lead to ventilation and eventual death-

We test for COVID-19. We do not test for variants. I don’t know of any hospital testing for variants. Our Docs just say, “Assume it is Delta”.
But no one is mentioning the Lambda variant from South America. It is supposedly as contagious as the Delta Variant, but more deadly.
The Lambda Variant is also more resistant to vaccines. And the Lambda variant is in Canada…but not here?

Didn’t the mayor of Laredo Texas say that they didn’t test the migrants before shipping them out, because if the migrants were covid positive, they would be morally obligated to treat them. (But they are not morally obligated to test before infecting America).
Has anybody tried budesonide inhaler instead of the ventilator at your facility? I’m not a doctor but in some cases, if the lungs are functioning but the oxygen is not being delivered to the blood, then this is a possibility.

Texas of course- (The left are slamming Texas and Florida)- but one has to ask, since they can’t even distinguish between flu and covid supposedly, according to CDC, then how can they distinguish the Lamda variant is here? or Delta?

About a year ago, I recall reading the red blood cells are unable to carry the oxygen. Also recall a side effect of iron buildup which causes lung issues. And the ventilators end up overworking the lungs without improved oxygenation.
Lambda variant found in nearly half the states already as shown by genome sequencing. But very small numbers. Delta seems to have a competitive advantage.
