CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WNCN) – A North Carolina senator is calling for Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson (R) to resign after he made comments referring to homosexuality as filth.
Sen. Jeff Jackson (D-Mecklenburg) called for the resignation after Right Wing Watch tweeted out a clip of Robinson on Wednesday.
Robinson was speaking at Asbury Baptist Church in Seagrove in June when he made the comments.
“There’s no reason anybody anywhere in America should be telling any child about transgenderism, homosexuality, any of that filth. And yes I called it filth. And if you don’t like that I called it filth, come see me and I’ll explain it to you,” Robinson said in the video.
He said the topics of “transgenderism and homosexuality” have no place in public schools.
“I watched it five times before I was convinced that he was saying what I thought he was saying,” Jackson said.
“I just don’t think he’s had enough conversations with members of this community that they are every bit deserving of respect as everyone else in this state.”
Robinson said children are being indoctrinated at public schools and he railed against not having God in schools.
“We have reached a point in public schools now, where first off, we’re telling our children ‘don’t be so sure you’re a little girl or a little boy,'” Robinson said.

Robinson is right. “Sex” education in schools has gone too far, gone far beyond what might be sensible to older teens and veered into indoctrination, down to grade school, about morals of sex and sexuality - PREACHING that “homosexuality” and “transgenderism” are O.K. and right, when that later part belongs in the home and the church, not in public school.

Mark grew up as the 9th of 10 siblings. In poverty, and with an abusive alcoholic father, he ended up in foster care. The radical left believes stories like his should not exist because low income families should abort their babies rather than giving them the opportunity to grow up in sub- optimal conditions. As a Christian, Mark will honor the sanctity of life.
Education
Mark believes that education is one of the most important issues that our state faces today. He believes that education should be just that, education; Indoctrination in our public schools must end. Mark advocates for parents having the decision in how and where their children are educated and supports school choice. As a part of supporting school choice, he believes that we should continue and strengthen opportunity scholarship programs which allows students of lower economic statuses to have the opportunity to go to a school outside of the public school system and to receive financial assistance to do so.
Jobs
Mark knows what it’s like for NAFTA to gut wages and take jobs, he experienced that himself. He experienced this twice, with the second company moving to Mexico. Mark will fight for workers across North Carolina to make sure they have jobs to support their families.
Immigration
Mark will always affirm and congratulate those who come here legally. However, he does not support those who illegally come across the border. It is a crime to do so, and should be treated as such. Sanctuary cities within our state are dangerous and disproportionately affect low income areas. Mark will stand up against sanctuary cities.
Veterans
As a veteran, Mark will fight for those who have given themselves to serve this country. Our veterans deserve to be taken care of, and Mark will not simply talk about getting results, he will do it. He believes that in the same way there was no expense spared to send them off, we should not spare any expense to take care of them when they come home and need help.
Voter ID
In 2018, 55% of North Carolinians voted for an amendment which would require ID to be shown in order to vote. After this amendment passed, activist judges struck it down. It is time to enact Voter ID laws, it is common-sense legislation for the common good.
Economy
As someone that has owned a small business, Mark understands less taxes and regulations means business owners can hire more employees and invest more into their communities.

This could setup a very interesting battle. Mecklenburg and Asheville are so gay they fart rainbows. But they have large black populations. Anybody who thinks Southern Christian blacks are in amoral lockstep with liberals has been living in an echo chamber. The two biggest liberal voting blocks in North Carolina could find themselves at odds come 2022.
That's not what I seeing, I think blacks are becoming much more accepting of gays now, the propaganda has worked.

Yeah? Well as a resident of Mecklenburg county,I call on Jeff Jackson to resign. Those suffering from gender dysmorphia are mentally ill. They’re sick. They need mental help. They do not need for the rest of us to pretend their sickness is reality.

But discussing it with children is filthy.
