AND POLICE IDENTIFIED THE SHOOTER AS 51-YEAR-OLD ROGER NOBLES. THE SUSPECT'S SON, ROGER NOBLES JUNIOR WAS OUTSIDE OF THE TRUCK WITH ADD SON AND STARTS TO WALK AWAY. NOBLES IS ARRESTED ON A FIRST DEGREE MURDER CHARGE. WHAT WE DON'T KNOW WHAT WAS THE CONFRONTATION ALL ABOUT IN THE FIRST PLACE AT THE INTERSECTION.

I suspect the driver of the car didn’t see the motorcyclist and/or the motorcyclist was driving too fast making a lane change. They disagreed with each others driving. The motorcyclist pointed at the drivers son and the driver shot him. Driver could have thought the victim was pointing a gun. Both sides needed to chill out.
Wral obtained a video of a fatal road rage incident. It played quickly. >> reporter: it unfolded extremely quickly. This is the man shot and killed in the road rage situation in fayetteville. We’ve been learning new details about this for the past several days. This is a still shot of the video you are about to see. This man was a passenger in this vehicle. This is the victim right here, he’s pointed at the passenger, the shots came from inside this vehicle according to police. The police asked for video and tonight they have it. And someone in another vehicle recorded the confrontation. In the video you see a man standing outside the passenger side of the truck and as he gets closer to the cyclist a shot is fired from the truck. And police identified the shooter as 51-year-old roger nobles. The suspect’s son, roger nobles junior was outside of the truck with add son and starts to walk away. Nobles is arrested on a first degree murder charge. What we don’t know what was the confrontation all about in the first place at the intersection.

I’ve watched a lot of road rage videos on youtube. Sometimes fleeing is not the option. That’s why I carry in my car and also learned what to do with that weapon if someone actually forces me to stop. There’s a particular stance you have to use with your finger in a particular place to keep from being accused of “brandishing” the weapon.
Some of my favorite videos of the ones where the thug forces someone to stop, gets out of his car and walks to the vehicle yelling ready to pound on someone, and then quietly walks back to his car and drives off because the driver of the other car was armed.
The reason for carrying is not so you can shoot somebody when they come at you. Rather, it is to let them know how high the stakes are if they do. Anyone not on serious drugs is going to back off.
