After my son got nailed by a woman who ran a red light while he was making a turn, we all decided to get one. Fortunately, there were several witnesses who told the sheriff what happened so he was not charged for anything.

They had no choice about calling the cops. He was in the middle of the intersection and the car was in no condition to drive anywhere.

Yes. I also picked up a Dash cam a few years ago after seeing all the people saved by them in the videos. But a funny thing happened with these videos. They used to be all crash videos or “really crazy driver” videos. Now, half (or more) of the episodes in the videos are of videos submitted by Karens that didn’t like someone cutting them off or passing them on the right. The truck driver videos are the worst.

I think the problem is that there is just not that interesting material out there, but a lot of “not very interesting” material, and they have to put up “something” to get views.

I can’t tell you how many videos are put up by Karens that show some guy doing something “crazy” and it’s something I do on a fairly ragular basis. I’m waiting to see a video with my car in it. 😜

The shooter looks like a piece of white trash. The TV station is saying “hate crime” but I absolutely reject the constitutionality of hate crime laws. And what are they gonna do to the shooter...execute him twice? By the looks of this he certainly should be executed once.

I remember one video of a woman who actually backed into the pick up truck behind her and then accused him of rear ending her.

When he mentioned the dashcam and showed her the clip, she beat feet out of there.

It is in Massachusetts...my lawyer told me it is. But in Massachusetts politicians,prosecutors and judges don't even try to hide their contempt for the 2nd Amendment so there ya go!

Well, each of the countries that make up the membership in the US federation have different laws. Some 180 degrees from each other. It’s why I refuse to travel to some countries. These include New Jersey, California, Massachusetts and a couple of others.

There are a lot of those now. The fun ones are the insurance scam pedestrians that run up to your car and bash their head into the windshield, breaking it, and then slide down off the hood in a limp mound of helpless victimhood - only to take off running when shown the dash cam. 🤣

Wondering the same thing. Most often if you do anything obviously deliberate to allow your gun to be seen it’s considered brandishing.

I put about 10,000 miles a year on my motorcycle and I pretty much always carry. I do have a carry permit even though it’s not necessary in Kentucky.

I’ve had some irritatingly close calls because of stupid drivers, but I don’t recall a maliciously aggressive driver while riding my bike. My attitude is they are driving a 3000 pound weapon; if somebody wants a confrontation I’m going to get the hell out of there. It helps that I’m not a dick motorcycle rider and I don’t do the things that piss off drivers. Hauling ass and weaving through traffic pisses off drivers. And following too close. Which is one of the dumbest things you can do on two wheels.

Senseless killing. My goodness, just keep driving. There’s idiots and angry people on the road….if they get aggressive, call the cops or simply flee from it.

I grew up in Los Angeles and the rule there was never honk your horn unless a collision is imminent or you could get shot.
