Australian cricketer Shane Warne, a legend in the sport, died suddenly at the age of 52 of a sudden heart attack on Friday.
“It is with great sadness we advise that Shane Keith Warne passed away of a suspected heart attack in Koh Samui, Thailand today, Friday 4th March,” MPC Entertainment, Warne’s company, said in a statement.
“Shane was found unresponsive in his Villa and despite the best efforts of medical staff, he could not be revived,” they added. “The family requests privacy at this time and will provide further details in due course.”
Last year, Warne was a cheerleader for the vaccine, urging the public to get their double vaxx despite not knowing the long-term side effects of the experimental jabs.
“I think it’s just a matter of getting on with it, get your double vaxx and get on with it and learn to live with it,” Warne said to Sky News Australia in July 2021, telling his countrymen to submit mindlessly to the mandates.
“No one over here seems to want to get locked down again. No one likes the lockdown,” he added. “They just said ‘enough’s enough, everyone go and get double jabbed’ and they’re learning to live with it.”
