John Fredericks explains why he thinks the Dr. Oz endorsement was a good move by Trump. Whether you agree with him or not, it's worth a listen.

Frederick's pedigree as a pro-MAGA Trump supporter is strong. He was the head of Trump's Virginia campaign in 2016 and, I think, 2020. He's been active in GOP politics pretty much his whole adult life, and is politically savvy. That doesn't necessarily mean he's right about this subject, but I find his take on politics worth listening to because he usually offers good insight on such matters.

Trump was the greatest President of the 21st century and can still do a lot of good promoting America First policies and fighting for the First Amendment, however, his endorsements and appointments have in many cases been wrong.

I don’t think anybody can replace Eisenhower, so I consider Trump to be the second greatest President of our time.

That’s not a slag against Trump. Eisenhower was simply on par with George Washington in terms of greatness.

I’m actually less disappointed with the endorsement of Oz than I am some others.

Micro Rubio in particular.
There is no way to square amnesty with MAGA.

McCormick is a “hedge fund, Wall Street, gangster bangster who has, and will, screw us.” “We’re playing the long game.” “ What Oz said 10 years ago is jot not relevant at this point.” “Best of three choices.”

Not difficult to click the link and listen. He gets right to the points.

Anyone else here find it peculiar that Trump has not endorsed for the Ohio Senate race, which is quite important and getting lots of national coverage? Same for governor.

Early voting has already started.

Should not have to if a simple summary would suffice.
Unless the poster is trying to drive clicks to a site.

More material:

Oz is the MAGA candidate here and he embraces it. It is Oz vs the Swamp. Oz is the only one who can win. Trump has known Oz a long time and talks to him all the time. He has a lot in common with Trump. He is the most Trump-like. A lot of the traditional Republicans who went after Trump in 2016 are the same folks going after Oz. Guess who was wrong then and who is wrong now?

This is a good research tool:

Oz:

McCormick (full time Swamp creature):

Eisenhower didn’t get the problem with big, unconstitutional government. He left office with taxes up to 91%. That certainly doesn’t make him a great President.

Nobody paid 91% in taxes, because the deductions were huge enough to drive trains through. All we have done, taxwise, is make the taxes more honest. We haven’t stopped collecting the same amount of revenue, proportionally.

There were somethings that were good about the tax system in the 1950’s, I think. For one, the revenue was structured to give generous tax deductions if you invested in your community, so there was incentive to building up America and not simply send the money overseas. Now, the incentive is to send the money out of the country, so that is what everybody who can send money out of the country is doing.

After listening to this, it sounds like Trump made the right decision endorsing Dr. Oz.

Trump sees the big picture.

Trump is creating something bigger.

Trump is creating an impregnable MAGA coalition for a second term.

Trump has a longer term vision than focusing on a comment on some TV show from 12 years ago.

Jack Posobiec, Get off Twitter or whatever you’re on, Gettr, making comments, and go run for something (you idiot.)

There is not going to be Reince Priebuses, there’s not going to be all these people from George Bush, that Bush and this Bush (Dave McCormick.)

They’re going to clean house.

Right now, Trump is playing the long game. He is not playing clickbait. Posobiec is playing clickbait.

That’s the bottom line.

It’s not so much a matter of “having to” as it is giving diligence to hear an argument precisely as stated by the person making the argument.

If the headline said, “Wow! Check out this cool video,” laziness and wariness would be warranted. In any case, I went ahead and gave you a written summary. Do you trust it?

What the hell is wrong with this country? First Trump pushes Morgan ortagus who got married by abortion Queen Ruth Bader Ginsburg on us and now dr. Oz. Oz is virtually the pioneer of the lefts demented transgender push upon our children. Trump endorses him and we are still talking about Trump as anybody we want anything to do with leadership. We all knew before but looked the other way from mr. “They let you grab them by the p*ssy”. And you just watch Trump attack DeSantis and anyone else that shows any threat to him. He’s going to show you just where his heart lies. He’s going to take the Republican party and the country right down with him. Watch this video of Dr.Oz and tell me there isn’t something very wrong with Trump and anyone that still supports either Oz or Trump. THESE ARE OUR CHILDREN FOR GOD’S SAKE!!!

I know.

Trump needs to be much more selective about endorsements because every bad one waters down his brand.

I agreed with him until he said against he’s Madison Cawthorne. He’s right about Jack Posobiec with clickbait tweets. Wasn’t Kamala supposed to be President by now?
