Ray Charles and The Judds joined the Country Music Hall of Fame on Sunday in a ceremony filled with tears, music and laughter, just a day after Naomi Judd died unexpectedly.
The loss of Naomi Judd altered the normally celebratory ceremony, but the music played on, as the genre’s singers and musicians mourned the country legend while also celebrating the four inductees: The Judds, Ray Charles, Eddie Bayers and Pete Drake. Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Vince Gill and many more performed their hit songs.
Naomi and Wynonna Judd were among the most popular duos of the 1980s, scoring 14 No. 1 hits during their nearly three-decade career. On the eve of her induction, the family said in a statement to The Associated Press that Naomi Judd died at the age of 76 due to “the disease of mental illness.”

I thought I was gonna puke! She was a beautiful woman at one time......now she’s the cookie cutter face that some of us have come to just scratch our heads about. She’s gained weight and doesn’t even look like herself. Maybe all that nasty woman stuff ate her up......you can only be bitter and radical for just so long. Plastic surgeons all over the country are laughing all the way to the bank!!

I’m sorry....I’m not a doctor and I don’t play one on TV but where are these injections supposed to go? Slap dab on your whole face??? Sorry, I ain’t buying it. Her nose looks like Michael Jacksons....gee

I said yesterday when Naomi came on a show all bloated up on her face that I thought she was on steroids for HepC......but Ashley obviously swelled during steroid treatment but does it end up with your face looking like that....the nose is the giveaway....it’s almost gone. I just don’t understand and if she’s in dire medical straits God bless her but if she has Michael Jackson syndrome she’s got problems more than physical.

Didn’t know Ray Charles was a country singer. Hell of an artist though, however you want classify him.

Clearly another case of botched plastic surgery. She looks hideous, and as much as I hate her politics, she was way cuter in her younger years.
Wynonna is a little older than I am. She seems to have avoided plastic surgery atrocities and is looking like herself only older.
Are they going to induct Linda Ronstadt before she dies?
Linda is a living legend, and she started out in country music.
He put out two CW albums back in the 60s against the wishes of all his buddies. Ray didn’t listen to them and just insisted on cutting the albums. I had both vinyls back in the 60s but the first wife got them after the divorce. Since then, I’ve been able to get them again on CD. Excellent albums. I’m happy to see Ray inducted into the CW HOF.
It’s crying time again.
